Worst You've Dealt With Online...

After hearing host and his friends lamenting for almost the whole race I ended up with this.

"No way he's 4 seconds faster on 2nd lap - kick the 🤬" - as if improving on 2nd lap being somehow the ultimate proof of cheating.

So I got kicked after winning 2 lap race on Nordschleife.

Got a nice air though :dopey:

Hosting a 350-400PP Race Lobby, some random joins and types "Your rules suck just as much as your driving admin." then left.
Just what....I don't even.

4 seconds on the 'ring is nothing. Some people just look for any excuse for their loss and to make themselves look like the best racer ever. So sad what many GT6 lobbies have been reduced to. :(

Tried the online today again - got kicked because I overtook one guy - he lied to room owner that I "didn't brake at all".

No more random lobbies for me. :yuck:

Never seen anything like this. Maybe you just need to be more careful when choosing rooms. I just avoid anything that has any kind of driver aid beyond ABS.

well most nordschleife players are always 10 seconds slower than the first lap, so seeing a player going 4 sec faster made them rage.
By the way 4 seconds are nothing, it's a bit crazy being kicked for a 4 sec gap .
even me doing less mistakes i'm always 5-10 seconds slower than the first lap:grumpy:.

Really? I am almost always 5-15 seconds faster on the second lap, but I never run online races at the ring, only online trackdays, so I am always trying to push that little bit more on the second lap.

Where did you overtake him, and what kind of lobby was it?

Inside line entering the Variante Ascari on Monza 80s. It was a racing lobby - we had few races before that. Aggressive move ? Yes but nowhere near "not braking at all".

Yeah that's what I was doing - it's still a crap shot. You get one good lobby and then one bad one, then I'm kicked because I set the fastest lap or because made any tiny contact with whoever in the room - the worst case is when I join the room full of the same nationality - racist comments are almost guaranteed.

Then we have room owners who set the HP and KG limits but actually require a specific car - so why the 🤬 not set it like that ?

I have also few times waited an eternity for the host to start the race - sometimes they never did and it was endless practice.

On top of that we have the dumbest people talking crap and how they stick fingers up their 🤬 and whatnot.

Also "avoiding slipstream is gay - you should let me win" - no it's not "gay", saw it countless times in real racing.

The same folks though were doing that dumb "two cars bump-slipstream" to go faster - THAT is perfectly fine. :ouch:

3 annoyances tonight

  1. Someone calling me an idiot because, get this, I have an opinion on Daft Punk... Or rather a good one...
  2. Someone asking for half an hour how to do the ghost glitch even after being told
  3. Someone ramming me because its impossible to trade cars. "Hey can I have that car?", "No, I can't trade it", "Bull:censored:, I traded with my friends all the time on GT5", "They got rid for GT6. Maybe to stop the spread of hacked cars like GT5", "Bull:censored: I want the car. I'll even send you a KTM (A KTM (which I have) for a VW Vision GT? Naa)

  1. How dare they have a bad opinion on DP?
  2. Gonna bet it's a kid.
  3. Also a kid.

  1. It's not their opinion that bothered me, especially when he had only heard their most recent album properly. It's the fact that he called me an idiot for suggesting Discovery is the better album over R.A.M
  2. I'm guessing too
  3. No, oddly. At least from the sounds of it, deep voice and all. And no it wasn't the voice changer activated

OK

I was kicked from Track Day for no reason, so I sent a message to the host asking why.

Suddenly, the host said that he kicked me, and many others, because of having a mic, in a lobby with mics enabled, and it was causing lag.

Then, I said to the host that he could have made the lobby with the mics disabled so there won't have heavy lag.

But....

... Unfortunately...

... He wanted them on.

Me: Then why kick the people with mics, even you wanted them in your lobby?

Host: i didnt you numpty

...

That story gave me a headache from the stupid I caught

.
Yeah that's what I was doing - it's still a crap shot.

Add me as a friend. I never run into these problems. It could just be the way I choose lobbies. I don't know what I do different though. Maybe I can just sniff out host-tards (yes, I just made that up :D)

I was in a trackday at Bathurst a few weeks ago. Someone was in a Tesla Model S with a wing, and even though I clearly had a mu h faster car, he insisted on blocking me and did everything he could to keep me behind him. He even went side to side on the Conrad Straight to keep me from over taking.

Oh, and when I hit him after not being able to slow the car down fast enough when he pulled the first block, he got all pissed off.

If it was just a track day, I would have rammed the crap out of that guy. Act like a jackass, you'll get slammed.

Just encountered another idiot who thinks not giving the car an oil change is cheating.

It was a 3 lap race on Circuit de la Sarthe (no chicanes), pp limit at 505 and weight at 1568kg (for some reason). I used an Aston Martin DB9 which already happened to be at 505pp at 100% power. I started in last and moved to first by the 2nd lap and the gap gradually widened until I finished about 18 seconds ahead.

At the end of the race, the host accused me of heavily detuning the car. I corrected him and he told me that, with an oil change, the car is at 512pp and that he would give me one more chance to use a fair car. I just left saying "Wow, OK. Bye."

So annoying.

Yesterday night I was in a cruising lobby and we were on the Nurburgring. I took my x2014 standard around and then I jumped in my TS030 and took it around. On my last lap with the Toyota some person who can't respect other drivers decided to go around the track the wrong way. He pulled right in front of me as I was getting off the back straight. There were others going the wrong way but they all respectfully got out of my way except this guy and his lambo. I managed a 6min 28sec but if he didn't be a jackass I probably would have done a 6min 23sec. That's right they ended up costing me 5 bloody seconds. I then left the room because it was almost midnight and he sent me a personal rage message which made me laugh my head off because he actually felt the need to send a private message:lol:. Clearly this person has no life outside his PS3. To avoid more funny anger messages I now have this person on my block list. Oh well some people just don't have the levels of respect that we have come to expect from society today.

Also in another lobby on the Indy Road course some people were racing around the track whilst others including myself were just having a little car show off of the track so the racers had space. Anyways the two that were racing each other also had a very good race going it was very close however one of them got angry because the other guy was drafting them on the start/finish straight. It really was a stupid argument because why wouldn't the other driver draft you?

Oh boy he'd love F1 2013- KERS, DRS, Drafting...
