Getting pretty tired of a guy I race with regularly, who must be under the impression that we are racing sprint cup cars. Can't pass cleanly? Hits me under braking or turn into me, turns into me on entry or mid turn every once in a while, etc. Last night was brutal. Bumping me to the moon. I did three races with them, win the first two, and get banged around on the third. Quit out after five laps of BS. Granted, I wasn't going to win the last race, because beau came in :p I was just mad that he who will remain nameless, will do things that you know he wouldn't in a serious series. I'm tired of his ego as well. Dude HAS to beat me specifically and he makes that very clear. Doesn't say a thing about needing to beat anyone else, just make references to me fairly often. It started with him being bent out of shape over me beating him in the lotus seasonal. He wasn't far off and tried to the end to beat me. I couldn't even do it after the second day of the TT, because my brake pedal was toast for a couple weeks lol. I didn't bother telling him that, though. Who cares. Just getting annoyed. I don't I would be so pissh over it, if incident like to race with the others that we regularly do so much as they are really modest, fast, good guys. I never get wound up over GT6, but guess I did last night lol.

Grrr.

Got kicked yesterday from some german guys probably because i was too much fast for them(-14 seconds at the finish line).
When i joined the room the host won followed by his friend, then they got owned by me and another italian guy.
After the race he got kicked and i got kicked after another race where i dominated.
Well, monza is italian, i'm italian, my fxx is damn fast, dont expect to win against me with some dumb 2Js :gtpflag:

Don't get cocky... you'll have a rude awakening one day and you won't be prepared to handle it.

I made that mistake a few years ago playing forza 2, got too big for my boots and got shot down in a silver tournament.

Since then I've become less cocky but kept improving my ability to drive fast and in control.

Net profit from all this? A more mature driver who's gracious in defeat and modest in victory. ;)

Warning for all:
Never join a Monza lobby called "Fair and Fun 650 LP" made by 2 german guys, Too fast(under 1.30) and you get kicked.
First time got kicked after dominating with a FXX, second time i got kicked 5 mins ago because they can't stay behind me even if i'm using a HSV, and i didnt even win(i bumped a guy by mistake and i let him win), got kicked in freeride when i joined the track with a vertigo(that 100% wasnt able to win)

Current pet hate.

When people become hosts then kick everyone and leave the room, forcing it shut.

What's the damn point?

I hate the constant ghosting of cars in lobbies, so sick of people making up positions by simply driving through me.

I would rather have an accident.
I could understand the ghosting if they still raced you fairly, but going straight through?

Not a double post because of the time between the two posts

Joined a cop room, all was well.

Guy got kicked for speeding, but then a guy piped up and said the guy was a hacker.

Now, out of curiosity, I asked the accuser if he had proof, and if he did then I wanted to know how the guy kept it under the radar (interest, y'see). The response

"He was faster than me."

An Audi RS6 faster than a C63 on a straight... Shocking right?

I then get called a stupid noob for suggesting the car was simply faster as I'd got one of mine on GT6 down to less than 3 seconds, and the guy called for me to be kicked because I was "a N O O B :D"

400pp cars on racing soft tires and skid recovery force. Can't stand that sort of thing.

And of course, hackers.

As a piece of advice to all, if you name a room any variation of 'all welcome' or 'anyone can join', don't disable driving aids or kick people for no reason. I see the former all the time and the latter just happened to me.

Whenever I make a free run lobby, I usually leave the assists switched on in the lobby options, so that everyone who joins won't be confined to running no assists, even if they can't handle a car with no assists. However, if I make a race lobby, then I'll switch off assists, since it's a competitive environment, therefore the playing field should be leveled.

Only assist I need is abs on 1.

Same here. If it weren't for the fact that brakes lock up way too easily in this game very few people online give room for cars that need to brake earlier, I would have it off. But until then, I'm staying on ABS 1.

I will say though, there are some times I want a tad of unobtrusive TCS, like the real life system of the 650s/12c where it only cuts in when you've ballsed it up...

What I want to do is, go through my car's cockpit and adjust TCS settings within the car.

Be it pressing a button, rolling a knob, doing some weird sequence envolving paddle shifters gas pedals, etc.

When I get into a KTM X-Bow, I want to go through the motion of getting in, strapping in and then attempting to turn on the car via its complicated fail-safe system.
