Getting abuse for my DeLorean.

Apparently it's too good looking to paint

Even if the paint is a lighter shade of silver...

Time for a bad experience I had a while ago.

I was in a free run server at Silverstone GP and this one guy wanted to bring out a Red Bull. The host said no as it was fictional. However he was in a Formula GT and that isnt real either. He insisted that the car is real as it is based off of a real F1 car but I said that technically so is the Red Bull as its a mix between an F1 car and LMP. Eventually he said that Red Bull drivers couldnt drive and to try and prove him wrong I said that most could its just the immature 9 year olds who ram everyone. So he got out his X2014 and waited in the pits and then said 'You going to do a lap or not?' I replied no as he had threatened to kick me if I got one out. Fast forward a few minutes and I said 'This is getting childish I cba to do this now' to which he replies 'GOOD now stfu' and ta-da! Kicked from server.

I cant help but laugh at some people on GT servers these days.

I had a similar problem in GT5. I joined a Top Gear Test Track car show lobby (My fault for joining in the first place). I brought out my X2010 S.Vettel and I got kicked. I asked the host why he kicked me and he replied that it is a fake car.

BUT HE WAS IN A FORMULA GT!!!!!! IDIOT!!!!

16 cars on Nordschleife 'track day', was dope. Crushing a lap in my Corvette Stingray, holding the car round corners and over bumps perfectly. Top corner of track see car sitting still but off-track, don't panic. See 2 cars suddenly speeding the opposite way, panic. 2 kids BOTH hit me one after the other, and damage is on. Pretty angry but lap hasn't gone red, so push on. 2 minutes later dude sitting parked across the track just after bump/jump, cant avoid him and crash. Why cant people who are messing about stay out of track days? Especially on a track like that where it takes 7 minutes to even be able to do a valid lap.

Don't exepect whiny brats with no knowledge of the life's reality being good users of the game (and the Internet) and being civilized and respectful to everyone...

It's the purberty going to the wrong way...

This isn't the worst, I detailed that earlier, but I came across an Aussie drag lobby that I had a good connection to for once. 6/8 of the members were driving fully tuned GT-R Black Editions, so I thought I'd see if I could join them in a stock Veyron.
The result? They kicked me 10 seconds after joining, ignoring the fact my car was probably slower and booting me on its reputation alone.

I have also been immediately kicked for entering a room simply labelled "950PP" with the X2014 Standard. How was I supposed to know that they wanted LMP cars only? Why would that make any sense?

Just joined a drift room and I see this thing trying to drift, y u people do this?

Edit: people care too much about names and not enough about chassis swaps.

Worst I've dealt with online is the online itself. Server problems nearly all the time!

Ditto for me. The number of times the lobbies have frozen the PS3 and required a reboot!!! The worst is when I've just had a ding-dong battle or win and want to save the replay.. only for the room to freeze before returning to the lobby.

I have to say it's been a lot better recently, tho'.

Unless there was server maintenance, I personally have never been disconnected from the lobby sever unless I had internet trouble. Right away, I always go to pingtest.net and check my connection.

Oh, wait, there was this one time a couple of months ago that my whole room got kicked, but I was able to restart it within a couple of minutes and had no trouble for the rest of the night.

I am online every night for at least 2 hours. I have been doing this since the Great PSN Blackout of 2011.

The same people that I see getting disconnected all of the time are the same people I saw getting disconnected in GT5. They have unresolved Internet problems.

There is not a damn thing wrong with PD's servers.

my whole room got kicked

You contridicted yourself here.

I see on occasion (from a couple of times a week to no problems for a couple weeks), whole rooms getting booted, particularly when it's one person every few seconds until the room is empty. That means that there is infact an issue with the servers.

I had problems yet again a few days ago where the friend's lobby option just would not display anyone, yet I could see my friend's rooms in the public lobby. That again is a PD issue, otherwise I wouldn't see the room at all.

On topic:
I had a problem tonight with my car acting completely differently from the practice session compared to the actual race. It was during CoTW on the bonus race, I had set several laps in my car and was more than happy enough with the tune, the gears were fine and the car handled the way I wanted it too. I checked what I consider important for a high PP race on Daytona Road Course; that the car could launch well, that the car was stable into the first braking zone and that the car did not spin on the banked corners. Everything was fine.

Enter the race and my car could not get away from the start, snapped like crazy (and I mean violently) when appyling any countersteer and could not do the banked corners without spinning. What made it more frustrating was that after recovering from the spins, the car (890hp) could not even perform a burnout, it just bogged. How could it change so much from the practice session without any adjustments?

I've joined a 500-550 PP road car race lobby with a R390 GT1 ROAD car... And I got kicked...

He saw me and said that it wasn't a road car and it was forbiden. I told him that it is a road edition a Le Mans car, but they only produced it 2 of them.

And then...

"Road cars are those you can buy them in a dealership."

And I got kicked...

...

... I wonder if they have ever seen the Radical SR3... :indiff:
