Alright, here's another from my day with Captain Sonic.
Saw he was online and decided to join him for a cruise room, it was at Stowe circuit and I was driving my Copen.
Soon I got bored and decided to get my Megane Trophy out. I followed the rules and only one person mentioned it, then Captain Sonic was told no racecars... So I changed to a KTM X-bow street still not sure what the need was, and his defence of "I want real traffic" was flawed. A RS equipped Nova SS, A Ferrari 250 GT and a NSX Type-R (of which only one exists in the UK, I believe) don't classify as "real traffic" in the UK...
So anyway. A bit miffed, I got into my VGT car, because I adore the sound.
Two minutes later
"No VGT" someone said
"I will happily tell you to get lost. The rules are no RACE CAR not CONCEPT"
Suddenly, host says no concepts but I refused to change because he never said it earlier and he only seemed to mind when others did, so I carried on whilst following the rules fully. More so than some others.
A huge argument, which proves how terrible the host was as he never got rid of me despite nearly everyone wanting me gone, erupted but still, I was driving my VGT. Soon host disconnected, and started a new lobby. So everyone left. Very well, I can drive in peace now.
Later it turned out the host and Captain had a run in over his friend earlier on and these rules seemed to be new as he had drove racers in the room before.
Tomorrow, I'm gonna try the room again with an FT-1 see what host says...
Yea me & Legacy were crusing together. & Host I known since Gran Turismo 5 since I always went to his cruise rooms & we know each other quite well or so I thought I did. Yes I always driven race cars before & concepts with no issue before since I being a cruiser for a long time. The other night things had changed. Before I was never put on a pedestal for driving those cars & now I was being singled out. Thats some flawed logic there! & I not a newbie with the host I am a veteran cruiser as I am a cruise room boss myself. So I thought what you cant be serious. Then alot of the other players in the room start moaning over the discussion & carry on. & yet players were sliding & smoking tyres in road cars.... Whats cool is though as soon as the host lost the room I got it since I was second in line. Then slowly all the nit pickers & moaners left & went to his new room! Yeah so thats my Facepalm moment for the day.
