Although I agree it is perfectly playable in singleplayer, there are some issues with multiplay so I have understood.

Sometimes there is no engine sound , so hopefully that will be fixed too.

Played WRC today for 3 hours today.
Milestone, you've done a very good job, so much improvement over WRC2!

Is the G27 gear box supported on ps3 guys.

Yes it is. I was already in the demo, i did changed 4th gear to Hand brake so when i pull gear leaver towards me car locks rear wheels. Not ideal solution, this is still E brake over pressure brake but what can you do, this is simple console not PC simm.

Picked this up today lads. I had the engine sound go AWOL on me lol. Just click restart and it was ok.

Enjoying it so far, wish the degrees of rotation were more (PS3).

Does anyone else notice texture resolutions loading up late on start of rally ? Or is my PS3 on its way out? Once the rally starts its all ok.

Due to no triple screen field if view I have put myself on hood cam, as a general cockpit guy the sideways action does conflict with cockpit view unfortunately for me.

Best Rally game on PS 3 IMHO. No way deserving of the slating it got on main stream sites.

Yes, I have the slow resolution loading as well. Guess it is meant to be like that.

I agree, the big sites are just plain wrong. Enjoy it.

The main sites' reviewers are plainly crooked and can be bought by competing studios - there has been a bit of a fuss about it recently. Trouble is, once said the damage is done.

Luckily BB have the WRC license for two more years still so plenty of time to prove them all wrong to those of the public that have an open mind.

IF you buy the dlc on a UK psn and installed it and switched over to your regular us psn name would the dlc still load up?

Why is that, can't you play it now then?

I should've read back further. It's only console.
The PC version just crashes upon assigning controls and I gave up as I am not a good gamepad racer. ;)

In any case... this one goes in a drawer until there is a PC patch with a lot of bug fixes.

A good question. All I know for sure is that others have bought WRC 2 and 3 from the EU and can play the game fine - trouble is though, whilst the game is region free, DLC tends to be region-locked.

Perhaps try it out first on the Mini Cooper which is really cheap - unless anyone has done this already can confirm, it might be the only way to find out.

Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

old mini and Safari add on. You have to really really search for it.

Is it any good Marco? Do you have it? Also is it raced as a one off rally or added to the main rally list or both?

Sorry for all the questions lol.

i don't have the mini. The Safari rally is over priced. It is actually one stage run forth and back.

The lighting on the Safari rally is very nice though.

You can use the Safari DLC online and it's available in all modes other than career. If you search for WRC and find the game, the DLCs should appear under it.

It is a bit expensive for just one track, certainly as WRC 2 had the Japan city DLC with seven or six stages for pretty much the same price

The mini has a little failure.. the interior has a fully digital dashboard like the modern wrc cars whillest the real life Mini has gauges..

I haven't got the Mini DLC, hope they bring some intresting cars in the future!

Oh btw, does any one know if you can use the 2000's en 90's cars etc in quick race mode? Because now i'm only able to use the official wrc car/s2000 and group N cars..
