Date of the Monte start but anything else? The rumoured Loeb rally game? WRC 5?

WRC 5 definitely makes sense, especially given the 'highlighted' 5 in the image.
Plus wouldn't it be about time for #5?
Normally the games came out around the end of October - this one is late, very, very late. Still, I suppose we may hear more tomorrow.

They could have not announced a release date so that they could take more time to add polish?

Maybe an optimistic thought but hey you never know.

No argument from me there :) They're still a small studio compared to most others and they don't do communication that well...bless 'em.

It would be great though as @Furinkazen suggests if a WRC 5 was to come out as well as the Seb Loeb game - double rainbow (damn you Driveclub! ;))

this was posted a while ago, possibly on milestones website, I forget but it was an official announcement.

Black Bean and Milestone had brought to the front of the stage WRC license. After 4 opus developed by the Italian studio is a shift that will be made in the franchise, now owned by BigBen Interactive. Thus, the Parisian studio Kylotonn Games which is in charge of WRC 5. These are several job vacancies posted by the studio which confirms the information. Social networks can be read here and there that Milestone is no longer in charge of development.

A new studio whose only game is racing ... Truck Racer, released in 2013 on behalf of BigBen Interactive. Note that Kylotonn Games has developed games such as bowls or Obut Hunter's Trophy again on behalf of BigBen Interactive. They are also responsible for The Cursed Crusade released in PC/PS3/Xbox on 360.

WRC 5 will not be released in 2014, the game will be released next year to coincide with the 2015 season of the World Rally Championship (WRC). The question is whether the game will be available at the beginning or end of the year. WRC 5 will only be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Crikey, I wouldn't be optimistic if it's a relatively new studio taking charge, on the new consoles as well.

Posted just an hour or so ago by BigBen Interactive:

According to their FB page, it'll be released in the autumn and will be on new-gen consoles, previous-gen consoles, PlayStation Vita and PC.

EDIT: Unless they bring a lot more to the game than is teased in that vid, I am inclined to feel that Milestone should have stayed in charge. There again, they will be involved with the Seb Loeb game, which looks a lot more realistic.

While I can see your point and it can often be true, I think it's best to wait and see (and cross fingers that it's not) for now.

Remember the same was said about Rocksteady before Batman...

Not much hard info but it sounds like they're going for a sim experience, which is awesome, and having Chardonnet could mean some good feed back as he's driven a lot of the various classes of WRC cars over the past few years.

On the Seb Loeb front, its looking very nice indeed...

It seems to me we've got a new wrc game coming from new people in 2015, we've got Sebastian Loeb Rally from milestone in 2015 who've already proved themselves capable of a cracking rally game if only it could get more promotion, and there's been various rumours and comments about the next Dirt being in the works for 2015 (and Codemasters have already indicated to people like Team VVV and others, I believe, that it will be more of a rally based game [which seems even more likely to me, now that "you know who" has gone to need for speed]).

So, to paraphrase someone else, it could be that next Christmas we can sit back and say - "when have we ever had it so good" for rally games. Atleast, since the ps2 glory days. I, for one, am optimistic, for once about this years rally game prospects.

I will watch this thread with interest (and yes, some baited breath...)

oh god its them? Not buying. Bye bye WRC.
On their FB page, there are a few posts about an iOS rally game that looks quite bad. I have a sneaking suspicion that WRC5 is going to be an upgraded version of that. I could be very wrong though so I'll see what gets released. Anyway, there's still Milestone's Seb Loeb game.

I'm starting to be more interested in Loeb's game than the WRC one...

I do want a new Dirt mind, as long as it isn't surrounding some passing fad driver.

It'll be interesting to see if this or Loeb will appeal more to today's rally fans. I'm from the pre-WRC era when it comes to rally because the current crop do nothing for me. I'm a big fan of the old Group A and Group N era. Much more about modified production cars than specialist racers.

Sorry, it's about wrc 4, Idk where I could ask.
But it's not recognising my G25 on pc. Any idea of how to solve it?
