Evidently not. Anybody who grew up liking wrestling has probably become disillusioned with it by now. Too much changes between the eras, and the suspension of disbelief becomes more difficult as the years go by.
There is already a thread here, but it hasn't garnered much attention. The fact that this thread is in the 'TV' section and not the 'sports' section goes a long way of showing how far pro wrestling has come.
