...when you think car dealerships give people a bucket of paint along with their new (or used) ride.

when you walk you take the racing line everywhere. sad thing is i always walk it.

Actually I do take the "racing line" on public roads quite often, assuming it's safe and I am not putting anyone else (or my vehicle) at risk. I do this almost every time on cloverleaf highway on-ramps... gives me the best corner exit speed :) 👍

Derivative;

When you haven't got your car washed in months, mostly because it would be disappointing to not see it spin dry. :dopey:

Used to get my car washed almost once a month before I started playing gt5 last Christmas. Been washed once or twice since.

....you get pulled over by the police and realize you're not playing GT5, and then the officer doesn't want to hear how you just shaved 0.01 secs off that last corner....

....you get to drive a real Ferrari F430 on a track and feel dissapointed because the owners won't let you turn all driving aids off. So you go home and spend 2hrs driving in GT5 to fully experience the car...real story

When you paint the wheels on your car with a paint gun and it magically doesn't get the rest of the car.

When for some reason in real life, you cant beat Citroen road concepts with a Seven-Fireblade. ( i have done that)

...you end up spending more time on GT Planet making "interesting & informative posts" than you do playing the game!

:sly:

...When you want to drag race, you drive all the way to Indy.

...When you think the OCD is on the computer.

...when you classify your cars' tires as "Comfort Medium".
or
...when you calculate the performance points for every car you see.

When you go karting and for 4 laps think your brakes are broken because you are too used to your spongey pedal wheel setup on gt. Actually happened!!

When you break the speed limit or drive the wrong way at Madrid.

When you see a Nissan GT-R on the road and think, "I wonder if he bought the DLC for that...oh wait."--This is a true story.

You must have seen the black edition then :sly:

That is what I was wondering. I couldn't see the front, so I didn't know if it was the 2012 or before.

Anyway,
...when you see a C1 Corvette on the road and say, "That doesn't look like a Silverado."

...when you complain to your mechanic because he took longer then eight seconds to completely rebuild your engine.

...when you try to turn off SRF for your real car.

...when you start taking racing lines and apexes while running thinking you'll go faster.
...when you run right behind another runner for slipstream.

Still doing them. :sly:

Whilst waking to work, you take the racing line and hit all the apex's, then have a massive argument with the guy who walks with you, because you say it's faster, and he disagrees.

True Story

When you buy a brand new car and take it to an oil change, expecting it to raise in 5% your engine's power.

...when you yell at a random passerby that you can't put a spoiler on your Audi A2.

...when someone compliments you on your rise, you say "yeah, it's premium."
