So your son is a driver, is he? We should race against each other and see if he's any good using the DFP  .

EDIT: You know you have ALREADY played GT5 too much when this happens to your rig because you've used it too much (true story :( ) :

Thursday I played for 6 hours stopping only for bathroom twice a new beer and to reach for my... Um ... lighter. after 6 hours mostly playing the nurb ring and tuning car after car I stopped. Changed to cable and started channel surfing, did one complete rotation and turned gt5 back on and played for 3 1/2 more hours. That was my day off.

Sounds like the perfect night in. I rarely get opportunities like that anymore. My wife takes the kids to her sisters in London twice a year for a couple of weeks, and that's my holiday.

Yea I hear ya man, I work six days a week and my only day off is when my fiance has a day off to. So I get to go grocery shopping and run errands all day. Thankfully she was doing something for her friends wedding. I love her but alone time can be the best time! Just me my two dogs and beer.

SO you have an issue with me keeping the DFP for him and his brother to beat on instead of my G27 regardless if he is any good or not? What does that have to do with it?

Either way, to play devils advocate, I wouldn't say he's "good" but does well enough to have cleared the game almost to the extreme series and stopped using aids (other than ABS 1) after the amateur level.

It's Tuesday evening, you just downloaded the GT Academy add-on and you are already thinking about what reason you could tell your teacher tomorrow for not doing your homework. :sly:

True story...

Nah, I have a DFGT. Just wanted to do a friendly race with him sometime :) .

Oh ha! Actually I bet he'd like that but I don't think it'd be much of a contest for you ;-)

When you pull up to a car in real life that's in gt5 and you tell the driver the fastest time the car can do on nurburgring LMAO

When you try to change the force feedback on your car.

Just to add a twist to this, I know I have played GT4 too much when I play GT5 and I wonder since when were the graphics so sharp and when drifting in GT5 becomes awkward, even though you are a pro at drifting :( .

when you walk you take the racing line everywhere. sad thing is i always walk it.

Used to drive to work every morning around 4.00am, and with little or no traffic around always taking the raCING line, 'specially through roundabouts. And walking the racing line when going down flights of stairs, start wide, smooth across to and through the apex and take good speed into the straight heading down to the next turn in the flight. Really sad

When you drift a supermarket trolley like a rally car..

Now these things happen to me, no matter what I do to prevent them from happening.

Technically speaking, this one isn't a result of playing GT5 too much, but still related to the GT series. Can't think of any more for GT5 unfortunately  :

You know that you have already played GT4 too much when you wish the year was 2022 so that the following car would exist in real life:

This thread really needed a bump, and that's a nice one! :)

It's indeed true, taking shots of cars in GT5 inspire me when doing real photography.

Found myself doing this with my 4 month old daughter in her stroller the other day! She was loving it, even moreso when I added the wheelie glitch to it!

I do that with my daughter in the trolley all the time! She loves it aswell! Hahaha. TBH I think about 95% of men do this also.
