A new week brings a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, with three fresh events now live and running through next Monday, August 24.
The headline slot this week is Race C, a 12-lap trip to Yas Marina Circuit with a 3x fuel multiplier, 4x tire wear, and a mandatory switch between Racing Medium and Racing Soft tires.
There’s something a little off, though. This race plays out in broad daylight, and Yas Marina just isn’t a track most players know that way. It’s usually seen at dusk or dark, when the circuit lights come alive and the whole place picks up a character it doesn’t have at midday.
Race A, by contrast, is an exact repeat. Daytona Road Course and the Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R last shared a Daily Races slot on January 12, and this week’s version matches it exactly: four laps, BOP (H), Sports Hard tires, fully Specified settings, no pit stop. It’s not new, but a tight one-make sprint in a fun little roadster is easy to welcome back regardless, and it’ll likely be the most popular of the week’s three races.
Race B is the other four-lap sprint, this time in Gr.4 cars around Autodrome Lago Maggiore’s Full Course Reverse layout on Racing Medium tires. BOP is set to (M), brake balance is the only setting left open, and there’s no mandatory stop or tire-type change to plan around, a straightforward middle ground between the week’s two more involved events.

Daily Races are the main ranked multiplayer events in Gran Turismo 7. Your Driver Rating (DR) and Sportsmanship Rating (SR) update after every race based on how you finish, and they feed into your seeding for the game’s flagship esports series each season.
To get into Sport Mode in the first place you’ll need to unlock it by clearing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe, and a PlayStation Plus subscription is required to race online.
With GT7’s Daily Races rolling over every Monday throughout the game’s life so far, the next new set should land on Monday, August 24.
