Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges: Man With a Van

A final set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges for April 2025 is becoming available to players around the world as local clocks tick into Friday morning, as five new races rotate into this special bonus mode.

Weekly Challenges consist of five events for players to tackle at any point during their one-week period, with four drawn from existing races in the World Circuits menu and a fifth “Special Event” that appears for just for the week only. You’ll need to complete the races, by finishing third or better in each event, to earn bonus rewards, with higher-value rewards the more you finish.

This week’s cheapest and shortest event comes by way of a two-lap blast of Tokyo Expressway Central Clockwise in the Japanese FR Challenge 450. For this you’ll need any front-engined, rear-wheel drive road car from a Japanese brand — don’t worry about the “450” notation, which is a suggested Performance Point (PP) value for a competitive race — and you’ll pick up 10,000cr for taking the race win.

There’s quite a bump up to the next race, which is our Special Event for the week. It’s a one-make challenge for the Renault Kangoo minivan, and beware that the cars are a bit fruitier than stock but not requiring too much tuning input to beat. You’ll need to come out on top in the three-lap race of the full Brands Hatch GP circuit if you want the 50,000cr first-place prize.

Three PP-limited races follow, with the middle of the three being the next best-paying event. You’ll head to Alsace Village for the World Rally Challenge, which only permits cars up to a 700PP limit and Racing Tires are required here as an asphalt rally event. You don’t need a Gr.B car either; anything will do, even detuned (to new BOP levels) Gr.3, and the three laps are worth 70,000cr for victory.

It’s the World Touring Car 600 event up next, with a five-lap affair at the Nurburgring GP circuit. Again, this has a 600PP cap, but you can approach it any way you like without limitations on tires, cars, or anything. You’ll score 80,000cr if you take the win here.

Finally we have an event you might need to unlock, as it’s from the Bonus Menu Book selection. That’s the Gr.1 Prototype Series event at the Daytona Road Course, which can be something of a challenge thanks to high tire wear and fuel consumption and savage Group C-driving AIs. It’s lightly mis-named, as any vehicle is permitted — not just Gr.1 cars — so long as it’s on Racing Tires and under a 950PP cap. Win the ten-lap race for a 115,000cr payday.

This week’s bonuses comprise a Six-Star Parts ticket for completing any one race, and a 150,000cr ticket — which you’ll need to redeem if you want the money — for completing any three events. Sweep the set and you’ll land a rare Six-Star Car ticket, which can gift any Brand Central car (including Invitation-only cars) worth 500,000cr or more.

You’ll need to have completed GT Cafe Menu Book 39 and watched the ending movie in order to have access to the Weekly Challenges. The events update at midnight local time on Thursday evenings/Friday mornings, so we’d expect the next set on the morning of Friday May 2.
