With the spectacular live final of the 2025 Gran Turismo World Series just two week away, Polyphony Digital has announced the now-traditional tie-in bonuses available to players worldwide.
We’ve seen these campaigns running over the last three seasons, giving a little extra incentive to engage with the live events, and regular players and viewers should know what to expect by now. For those not familiar with it, the various different types of campaign offer a chance to nab some free content and credits for anything from a couple of button-presses to some skill — and a bit of luck.
As usual there’s two more passive campaigns, offering up to 2,000,000cr and a pair of specially liveried cars, and some special race events running alongside and through the World Finals on December 20-21.

Gran Turismo World Finals: Predict the Champions
You’ll need to mix your knowedge of the current competitive Gran Turismo esports scene with a bit of luck to pick up the prizes for the Predict the Winners campaign, which offers up to 2,000,000cr.
It doesn’t take much to work out from the name that you’ll need to predict who’s going to win each of the two championships once everything is over in Fukuoka — and do note that this is a change from previous years: it’s the champions you’ll need to predict.
This can only be done in-game, via a special portal in the top-right of the World Map hub. Each of the two events has its own separate page, listing the competitors for each — the 12 Nations Cup finalists who don’t change across the season, and the 12 qualified brands in Manufacturers Cup — and you’ll need to pick which will win the whole thing.
If it helps any, the top three in each championship heading into the World Finals are as follows — though there’s far more points available in Fukuoka than all three previous rounds combined:
Manufacturers Cup Standings (After Three Rounds)
- 1 – Team Subaru (Drumont, Miyazono, Solis) – 12 points
- 2 – Team BMW (Haywood, Labouteley, Suzuki) – 10 points
- 2 – Team Mazda (Cardinal, Kokubun, Urra) – 10 points
Nations Cup Standings (After Three Rounds)
- 1 – Jose Serrano (Spain) – 17 points
- 2 – Pol Urra (Spain) – 12 points
- 3 – Valerio Gallo (Italy) – 11 points
For each one you get correct, you’ll earn a cool 1,000,000cr, adding up to that magic two million. You’ll have up until the final race starts in each event to make your pick, so feel free to watch all of the preliminary racing action — three races per championship — on the day first.
The credits will be delivered automatically as tickets on Monday 22 December, and though no specific time has been mentioned it usually coincides with around noon UTC.

Gran Turismo World Finals: Viewers Gift
You can also pick up two cars in the much easier Viewers Gift campaign, which requires barely any effort and gives an enormous window for taking part.
In order to grab the cars, you need to watch the live streams — at any point from the start of broadcast at 0800 UTC on December 20/0600 UTC on December 21 up until 0900 UTC on January 5 — through another special in-game portal. It doesn’t matter if you select Twitch or YouTube, the effect is the same so long as you’re watching via the game.
However, you don’t actually need to watch any of it this way. Once you’ve clicked on the “Watch Stream (Entry Available)” button for the appropriate stream it changes to a gray “Watch Stream (Entry Submitted)” button. That marks the task as completed and you can feel free to head away and watch through any other method.
Watching the Manufacturers Cup stream will award you with the champion brand’s car in a special livery appropriate to its success, while watching the Nations Cup stream gifts you a Gran Turismo F3500-B in a livery inspired by the national flag of the champion driver.
The car will be distributed as tickets after the next game update after the window closes, most likely some time around Thursday January 29 — though we obviously don’t have a confirmed date for the next update at this point.

Gran Turismo World Finals: Special Events
There are also a couple of “Special Events”, again accessible through a tile at the top of your World Map from today, that allow you to race for bonus credits in races against the standard AI that are inspired by the World Finals races. Each offers up to 1,000,000 credits — 200,000cr for fifth, an additional 300,000cr for third, and a further 500,000cr for victory — as a one-time award.
The Manufacturers Cup Special Race is a five-lap run around the new Yas Marina Circuit in your pick of the 12 qualified finalists’ Gr.3 cars (and, before you ask, yes the Ferrari is still the 458 as will be raced at the finals), replicating the grand final of the championship in short form over five laps.
In the Nations Cup you’ll be doing something different, and racing over seven laps of the new Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve in the also-new F3500-B. This mimics one of the three points races before the grand final, so at least you won’t have to use the X2019 Competition again… You’ll also get a preview of the possible livieries for the Viewers Gift prize car above.
Although not yet announced we’re also expecting a Time Trial event using a car/track combination from the finals, and a Daily Race in the week before the finals with probably a Manufacturers Cup combination and boosted prize money.
If you want to attend the finals in person, there’s a chance to win a free trip there in the new Polestar 5 Time Trial Challenge, but for everyone else the tickets are on sale now.
