Need For Speed Debuts The Nissan GT-R Premium 2017

Revealed yesterday the Nissan GT-R 2017 is an absolute beauty. Slightly tweaking the iconic design of previous models, the new bodykit and vastly improved interior has car fanatics drooling. Those wondering about the vehicle’s digital debut need worry no more – EA’s Need for Speed has the honors of putting the latest GT-R in player hands around the world.

Launching today for console players and March 30th on PC, the GT-R will be downloadable free of charge for those wanting to give Nissan’s latest supercar a whirl around Ventura Bay. Nissan’s flagship boasts 565 horsepower and will certainly pack a punch when modified even further. The car will most likely have similar visual and performance modifications to the R35 already present in the game. The GT-R joins 3 of its older brothers in Need for Speed which should make for some interesting photo-shoot opportunities for keen snappers in the forums.

I think I’m in love.

The addition of the Nissan continues to show Ghost’s commitment to providing NFS enthusiasts with reasons to keep playing the game. Earlier this month NFS was updated in accordance to fan feedback bringing much wanted features like manual transmission and drag racing back to the long-standing series. With PC players just getting in on the action, it seems the content will still be coming steadily and most importantly free for those still getting their street racing fix.

This games physics engine is still broken… No need for real cars if they drive like hot wheels toys… It’s like 2005 again.. Been there done that..

So has this and other recent updates fixed a lot that was criticized early in the release?
Thinking I might have to finally go out and find a copy on special, haven’t done any racing on sooooo long it’s not funny any more. :(

Suddenly, GT is not the only franchise who can claim “our close ties to the automotive industry allow us to have day one releases of cars in our games.” Marketing talk in point? :P

Really makes me wonder how long Nissan will/can hang on to PD and GT….
I’d be like, “c’mon Kaz, you better do something soon or we’re outta here”…..
