New Ride 3 Gameplay Video Gives Us (Brief) Look at Late-Night Racing

Ride 3 is just over two months out from its launch. Milestone showcased the two-wheel racer at Gamescom last week, and now the short clip is available for all to watch.

Clocking in at just under a minute, the footage focuses on the city streets of Macau. A dozen sport bikes dash under the neon glow of the signs dotting the road, making for a visually dramatic showcase:

We’re getting some Gran Turismo Special Stage Route 11 vibes from this. Maybe swap out the sport bikes out for some big V-twin heavyweights, queue up some Nightcall, and just cruise?

It’s quite the change of scenery from the last location Milestone showed off. Lake Garda is all switchbacks and elevation changes, with the stunning beauty of southern Europe as a backdrop. With these just being two of the 30 tracks set to be in the game, it bodes well for Ride 3’s variety.

When the game arrives on PS4, XB1, and PC November 8, it will feature over 230 licensed bikes from a whopping 30 manufacturers.

Milestone will also be taking a slightly different approach to the single player experience. Instead of a linear campaign, players will experience the game’s content through magazines. We haven’t heard much about this part of Ride 3 yet, but Milestone says players can “collect them all and unlock the most extensive bike knowledge you’ll ever need”.

In addition, there will be a more in-depth customization suite available, including a livery editor.

Stay tuned for more on Ride 3 as we head into autumn.
