A new week brings a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races, with three fresh events now live and running through next Monday, September 28.
Race B has the twist this week. It’s six laps of Fuji International Speedway in Gr.4 cars on Racing Mediums, but only mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive (MR) cars are eligible.
That takes the front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive regulars off the grid entirely and leaves just seven cars to choose from, and it looks like the GT by Citroen Gr.4 will be the pick of the litter. Drivetrain restrictions don’t show up in Daily Races particularly often, so enjoy the change of pace while you can.
Race C is getting a cooler reception. It’s eleven laps of Sardegna – Road Track – A in Gr.3 cars on Racing Mediums, with one mandatory pit stop, 2x fuel consumption, 8x tire wear, and High-Speed BoP.
This is the fifth set of Daily Races since Update 1.71, and every one of them has included a Gr.3 race. The Hyundai Genesis Gr.3 held most of the top spots in the open Gr.3 Time Trial at Suzuka, it was the car to have at Dragon Trail and again at Monza last week, and we don’t expect Sardegna to be any different. Race A, as usual, puts everyone in the same car.
The Ford Mustang Mach 1 ’71 heads to WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca for six laps on Comfort Softs. It’s an all-American pairing at a circuit that hosted an Online Time Trial just a few weeks ago, although a ’70s muscle car on road tires will make the Corkscrew feel rather different.

Daily Races are the main ranked multiplayer events in Gran Turismo 7. Your Driver Rating (DR) and Sportsmanship Rating (SR) are updated after every race based on how you perform, and they determine your seeding for the game’s flagship esports series each season.
To get into Sport Mode in the first place, you’ll need to unlock it by clearing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe, and a PlayStation Plus subscription is required to race online.
With GT7’s Daily Races rolling over every Monday, the next new set should land on Monday, September 28.
