There’s a brace of new events in the latest Gran Turismo 7 Online Time Trial update, with the upcoming GT World Series Singapore round marked with a special challenge.
That takes the usual format of a hot lap using the Red Bull X2019 Competition (or Anniversary) on Racing Soft tires at the course that will be used in the Nations Cup final race at the event, which this time is the rarely used Circuit de Sainte-Croix B — and in the reverse direction at that.
We have a more generous Bronze threshold than usual for this one, along with double the reward for hitting that particular target at 500,000cr. You’ll likely need something in the region of a low-1:53 to secure that, compared to a low-1:39 for Silver (and 1m credits) and a low-1:37 for Gold (and 2m credits).
Meanwhile the regularly scheduled new time trial takes in Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta with an unusual twist that sees you picking from one of two cars. That’s the two German Hypercar rivals in the game: the BMW M Hybrid V8 and Porsche 963.
You can of course try out both for this one, with the two machines available to borrow if you don’t have the 3m credits apiece required to buy them. The rentals also come with the correct Racing Medium tires pre-fitted.
As for targets, expect to need something under 1:14.750 for bronze, 1:11.250 for silver, and 1:10.000 for gold once the event closes, with the regular rewards in place.
The previous event continues alongside these: the Lexus RC F ’14 at Dragon Trail Seaside’s Reverse course on Sports Medium tires, which arrived last week. That event closes on Thursday, October 1, with the two new ones closing one week later.

Accessing Online Time Trials
If you’re new to these events, you’ll first need to unlock Sport Mode by completing Menu Book 9 (“Championship: Tokyo Highway Parade”) in the GT Cafe; our full unlock guide is here. A PlayStation Plus subscription isn’t required.
Once an event closes, rewards are paid out based on how close you got to the top time: gold within 3% (2,000,000cr), silver within 5% (1,000,000cr), and bronze within 10% (250,000cr).
A new event arrives every Thursday, each running for two weeks, with the oldest dropping off as each new one lands. The next new Online Time Trial arrives October 1.
