I switched up my 4wds for this one, hell i even took my RAM for a spin….. Now i’m a proud owner of the ESCUDO P.P. Whatta monster. And i snagged a couple of Audis in the OCD, especially the S4s.

I know this is off topic of this forum,ut I need some help. I’ve been trying to get all gold licenses, and I now have all but one. International C license challenge 3: Nissan 370Z on Indy road course. I’ve already got silver, and my best time is an 18.487 when I need an 18.3. I really don’t know how to squeeze that .187 out of the car. Any tips on setup or how to do it?

Did you try using Force Skid Recovery (whatever it’s called), I don’t remember if you can use it in license tests. I don’t normally use it, but if you are trying to squeeze that little bit more out of a car, I’d try it.

    2. Brunskill777

Thanks but the skid recovery force was already on and could not be changed. But it doesn’t matter, I’ve finally done it, an 18.269! That’s all licenses in gold, a great achievement for any GT player.

Used my Honda Dualnote, the opposition didn´t stand a chance, and who would have know that the reward for gold in all events would be so good, i mean, the Scudo Pikes Peak is the one of the best standart cars in the game!

I did all the races except Cape Ring in a ’91 Skyline GT-R N1 (R32) at 460 PP with ease on the first try. Cape Ring needed two attempts, but I made a few mistakes.

I used the Mazdaspeed atenza 05 or Mazda 6 mps . Which is AWD . With 478 pp , made for some really good racing . Love whipping evos & scoobys in this beast . Lol .

Again another great seasonal, gave me a chance to use some rally cars I’d never used before. But I ask again, how can I have the opportunity to have my pictures at the top of the article? I see it’s something to do with photomode, but what’s that and how do I use it?

Nice seasonal, but PD should add something that makes more sense. Like a variable PP race series. You choose a drive train, pp and tires and then select your car. Then the game should match the cars based on what you chose and on top of that have the AI drive like the professional setting of arcade mode. This would kill the need for PD to keep coming up with events and give us the power to choose and PD can also just update their servers to dole out prizes based on difficulty, also the performance difference bonus would remain intact. Give us the power to make our races more competitive, increase the laps on courses and adding damage, tire wear and fuel consumption to the mix. The types of one time prizes should be changed depending on the theme, if you chose a muscle car you can win an old school muscle car, LMP race prize would be LMP type car. All the parts are there to make seasonal races like I envisioned.

I made it with Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX GSR ’05 (490PP) and I made it soooo easily…I can’t believe there is 530PP limit :D but good job PD…keep doing A-Spec I don’t give a damn about B-Spec

  8. Dragonwhisky

Rats! Right in the middle of the 24 hour sarthe race in a-spec. Gotta finish that before I can check the OCD and run those seasonals. While I am glad the save race function works I still think it was poorly implemented.

    1. BWX

And I’m smack dab in the middle of a 9 hour Tsukuba endurance. I wish PD made it so I could play other parts of GT5 and then go back to the endurance race.

  9. Blood*Specter

Simply awesome picture of the mitsubishi there. Or as my Grand called them “misterbitchy”

  10. Amac500

I have to admit, when I say this on my ps3, before or got on here, I was a little bit surprised Motegi wasn’t a track in it. Idk why I felt like that though, but still, loving it, glad to have la sarthe

  11. NJ72

Am I the only one who is going straight to the OCD, buying the dodge ram and then going straight on la sarthe? Might need a bit more power first… :P

    1. HuskyGT

Seasonals are getting better and better. And I just remembered I’m stuck in the middle of a long endurance race :(

    1. Rushton1996

Yeah, sounds strangely familiar…Oh I know, it was Audi winning Le Mans in a 4wd Hybrid Audi R18 E-tron. They really need to add that car in the game with the Deltawing and Toyota TS030 Hybrid. Then I will do the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the Deltawing .

  12. TokoTurismo

Now I’m loving this a whole lot now, despite the whole chase the rabbit thing which won’t never happen again in GT6.

I love the fact that we can race with our race and rally cars depending on the PP. Its even greater that no B-spec is shown either which is also good. Thank you very much PD, and stick to this route until you reach to the *Boxer Spirit* challenge featuring both Subaru and RUF. :D

    1. HuskyGT

      *Boxer Spirit

Oh man, that would be epic!! and it would be awesome if they put several events with different pp range so all boxer cars have an opportunity, ranging from the old VeeDubs to the Subarus, all the way to the brutal Rufs.

    2. Progress823

PD should be able to patch GT5 so that we can qualify for positions and not play chase the rabbit – and smarten up the AI so that it is a race and not a run-a-way (lol). Wishful thinking though. I’ll probably use 500pp car for this, maybe WRX 2010…

  13. Quakebass

Looking forward to trying these tomorrow! Especially Sarthe; FINALLY a race on Sarthe with more than one lap, and slow enough cars to do it in!

    1. Amac500

Sorry, did race cars get to fast for you? Haha, just dogging ya. I’m glad La Sarthe is finally in a seasonal event like this. Also there is a 3 lap Sarthe race in the dream car challenge at level 23 or 24 or something.

  14. KYD302

Nice pick would have rather seen a STI tho. I’m pretty excited about this challenge as i rarely ever use a AWD car so its time to bring out the GT-Four before going back to my RWD’s until next time.
