As much as I love this, more American cars need to be added. The ones in the game currently are outdated and few.

  2. SaintSaiya

I hope they include my car a 2001 grand marquis with 30k miles lol in future dlc, nothing exotic just a normal mortal :D

  3. BrosifDuder

It continues to humor me that the comments section of nearly every story that is published on GTPlanet’s news page turns into a personal GT5 “wish list” depository.

  4. daics69

everyone seems to want different things. all sound good but can’t get em all. i’d be happy with pikes peake plus a few extra beasts to run on it. peace

    1. TokoTurismo

Agreed. Pikes peak track hill climb and down climb sections and hill climb rally cars such as the Suzuki SX4 Monster Sport Pikes Peak Special + Group B rally and rally cars all premium FTW! If in GT6 bless Kaz and PD. But overall cool event. :D

  5. Brianuk1

Hi all. I have started doing remote races for extra money and xp and I have noticed that after I have done a race or two I get a yellow dot next to my b spec driver and I see you can up to three dots. Can anyone tell what they are for or what they mean. Thanx.

  6. 2012GT325

Everyone, let’s all get together and let Porsche know that it’s very unfair of them to have exclusive licensing deals and not let their cars on GT. Let’s leave comments on their facebook/google+/etc, write/email/call them. Please, if you love cars, let’s get together and let them hear our united voices.

    1. Lambob

As soon as we get their attention, Porsche will say, “they make driving games? really? why didn’t anyone tell us before?!” Of course we want our cars in there!”

  7. MadmuppGT

600PP cars on sports tyres… making harder for harders sake… just make the lap times a little shorter and let the cars have the right tyres for the PP.. its like driving around on tyres made of ice… unless you put the TC on then youre just a puss!

    1. Pearltsx

Well for people not using a wheel and pedals the aids are most helpful, i.e. trac control & abs. The rest are for puss

    2. L4nc3r

I have to agree with MadmuppGT…

I use these cars with Comfort Soft or Sport hard tires to drift, and not to race against time -.-
I have tried to complete these races with my drift cars, but it just isn’t fast enough to get the medal :\

    1. Quakebass

Whatever we get, I’m expecting it in March. We’re about a 1/3 of the way through February and nothing has been announced, so I’m think more early in March. Maybe late February, who knows?

(Maybe it’ll come out on my birthday! :D)

    2. 2012GT325

I’d love the following cars in the next DLC pack:

      2012 Mustang GT
      2013 Mustang Shelby GT500
      Camaro ZL1
      Cadillac CTS-V (Coupe, Sedan, Wagon)
      Cadillac ATS
      2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 6.4L
      Ford Fiesta
      2012 Ford Focus
      Chevy Sonic
And, even though this may never happen, but Premium Trucks/Vans/SUVs would be nice.

    3. Islaygaz

@quakebass I think it is more likely to be late march/early April as Kaz mentioned DLCs about every 3 months a while back

  8. bxgungrave81

And I with enthusiastgt about using all these cars we have that don’t use a lot of them r cool to look at an drive but we need events for them as a owner of a g27 I appreciate how every car feels an handles an because we don’t have events to use them no one really deals with them love the race cars but I’m more of a non race car person

  9. Youngun

Im not Arguing the case of the European car or Japanese car or American car. every country has there trates, americas is power, europe is looks and japans is tracks/ curcuits (not just lap times). each is becoming closer and closer to each other, ie 1000bhp supercars and great looking american and japanese cars. even smaller countries are getting in on it but if you want the best of all three, Europe is no but the other 2 aint far behind. cant wait for vette c7 and viper mk 5 this year, signing off!

    1. TeamCZRRacing

If you’re talking about cars, Japan’s defining trait is reliability. It’s a well-known fact that it’s almost impossible to kill a Japanese ride, assuming you maintain it reasonably well and don’t do anything stupid like back it up a tree at racing speed. :)

  10. Doober

maybe I am a crazy person, but am I the only one that wants an endurance seasonal event? the events now are a joke. Why not an endurance race with all the restrictions the the normal seasonal events have? as opposed to the unrestricted normal events, these can restrictions such PP and HP etc… so it would be more like a real race.

  11. Enthusiastgt

When are we gona get a mountain pass? Where going down hill in a tiny lightweight car is faster than a heavier more powerful car? I mean i have all this cars in my garage that are soooo sloww in the big circuits but would outperform in a mountain pass plus touge is a type of race right? I mean kz should know he is japanese and drifting started in the mountains! Plus i found it more fun to drive my eighties and seventies cars than the buggatti (which i never drive)

    1. llNovall

Magnetoretical shocks if i pronounced that correctly. Ferrari bachwards engineered their version from the Cadillac CTSV and Corvette

    2. MadmuppGT

Bachwards sound like a German tuning house… and That is a bold claim about Ferrari using American engineered suspension on a Ferrari of all things… surely some internet searching is called for!

    3. dmz_bean

Audi used a hydro magnetic system (iron filings in the suspension fluid) in the 80’s which they stole from Citroen, who stole it from British Leyland, who I can only imagine stole it from someone else. So that technology is pretty old, but surprisingly only becoming useful and refined in recent years…

    4. tpark103

My point was lost somewhere in the conversation. American automotive engineering has a bad reputation of being all about that big V8 hammer with no presission or finess. This steriotype has been translated into the game with most of that were cars picked to reperesent America. When a company with a resume and the racing pedigree that Ferrari has uses American suspension on there ground breaking model, that’s saying something!!!

    5. ironman44321

Tpark103- don’t belive everything the commercials tell you. Magnetic ride control has been around for a long time. Audi I believe was the first one to put it in mainstream cars but it was even in use before that.

    6. tpark103

I won’t pretend to an expert in suspensions nor even care whom has the patent on the technology. I just trying to say that for some strange reason, and now that I have been well versed by my fellow GTP bloggers, of all the manufactures a European company known for its hyper racing cars could have went to for a credical component, they choose an American manufacture.

    7. KYD302

The Magnetic suspension was actually Russian designed for military use and thats where it started and i think that was back in the 30’s or 40’s but there concept wasn’t anything special Cadillac is more refined then Ferrari ‘s knock off GM sold some info on the suspension to Ferrari but Gm being Gm probably wont upgrade it before Ferrari does and FoMoCo had Magnetic concepts and trials back in the 60’s and 70’s and scrapped the idea due to cost it’s been around for a very long time and alot of people have used it idk why Gm makes a big deal about it though

    8. tpark103

@Nicholas9889 haha this rant started with myself saying how American cars, though much improved over the last year or two are not quiet world players and the cars that were PD decided to use to represent America are mostly stereotypical 8V hammers without much else.

  12. tpark103

I don’t want to sound like a hater. I am American. Of you want performance for value hands down we offer many options. American cars have mad unbelievable improvements over the last two years. Unfortunately the world hasn’t seen any represented on GT5. Some of our best work was done on the magnetic suspension on the Ferrari 458 Italia which was

    1. Youngun

wrong, wot about the r8 magnetic suspension, land rover evoque magnetic suspension, mp4 magnetic suspension…… didnt borrow just used as it the next up and coming thin. the next viper and corvette might have it to, why would rivals (if u can call it that) share things. companies that are linked (ford > aston martin, Jaguar > landrover, Audi > Lamborghini) do use each others tech but ferrari is on its own and stick to that. just cuz the cts used it first doesnt mean it borrowed, r8 has used it for 6 year! and it was NEW then

    2. JTSnooks

Actually, GM first offered it on the 2002 Cadillac STS, followed in 2003 by the 50th anniversary Corvette C5. It was developed by GM and Delphi in cooperation, and everyone that uses the technology (except BMW who made their own version) pays GM for the right to use it, including Audi and Ferrari.

    3. Youngun

my bad These types of systems are available from OEMs for several vehicles, including the Acura MDX, Audi TT and R8, Buick Lucerne, Cadillac CTS-V, DTS, XLR, SRX, STS, Chevrolet Corvette, Ferrari 599GTB, 458 Italia and Holden HSV Commodore. These systems were produced by the Delphi Corporation and now by BWI Group under the proprietary name MagneRide” but not owned by anyone, just a sub contractor that supplies them

    4. JTSnooks

      From Wikipedia:

General Motors (in a partnership with Delphi Corporation) has developed this technology for automotive applications. It made its debut in both Cadillac (Seville STS build date on or after 1/15/2002 with RPO F55) as “Magneride” (or “MR”) and Chevrolet passenger vehicles (All Corvettes made since 2003 with the F55 option code) as part of the driver selectable “Magnetic Selective Ride Control (MSRC)” system) in model year 2003. Other manufacturers have paid for the use of it in their own vehicles. As of 2007, BMW manufactures cars using their own proprietary version of this device, while Audi and Ferrari offer the MagneRide on various models.

MagneRide was developed and is licensed by GM to Ferrari and Audi among others.

    5. tpark103

I think GM are trying to sell cars, after all that’s what they are in business for. I haven’t read any negative feedback form reviews on the handling of the latest version, which can be found on the Camero ZL1. Haven’t had a chance to shake down one yet.

  13. Youngun

The thing that you lot are forgetting is that all the top few american cars (ACR, ZR-1, Z06 etc all years) Ran on Michelin slick tires which in the normal world ISN’T LEGAL. And as we all know, Slick tires improves everything from acceleration to corning, stability to plain lap times yet u look at all the European lap times (enzo, 458, 911 gt2 rs, gt3 rs, GTR, LFA etc etc etc) , all done on road legal sports tires (stock from production) and still put down impressive times. Those two, the ZR-1 & ACR, both pretty much track cars, yet i could take a gt-r or lfa or 458 ….. (u get my drift) round a track but i could take them home and use them every day (with legal tires)
Americans think that they have good cars but true of the matter, Europe does Quantity and Quality. just think how many old/new current/post production european cars that havent been round. one car, the 599 gto is a track monster yet not been round, noble m600 not been round, mp4-12c not been round and much quicker than 458, aventador, lp670-4 sv, slr 722, zogato, zonda ticolori, veyron ss, r8 v10 gt, gtr track pack, xkr-s, huayra…. should i go on……

    1. aronh17

@Youngun Actually the tires are slick street legal competition tires. More or less Sports Soft tires in GT5, they are street legal.

    2. Youngun

ment euro/jap times* as thats the comparison. slicks are still slicks, pirelli also do slicks which i used on track but streetwise, nope. any wet conditions and i was in the hedge line. and OEM Michelin Pilot Sport Cup R compound track.competition tires are NOT road legal and are a track only option the manufacturer supply

    3. ps3finest

Before I say anything, I would like to say I’m American. Now, I would like to say that while it is true that performance has increased, so has everyone elses. Now that the US is poorer, quality has decreased. As far as I am concerned, the only area the American cars is better than european cars is styling. My opinion. Don’t hate on it.

    4. JTSnooks

What are you talking about? The ZR1 and ACR went around on completely street legal tires, not “slicks”, as you claim. Also, while you’re correct that the Viper ACR is essentially a street-legal track car, the ZR1 is not in any way, shape, or form. It is just as mild-mannered as any other Corvette, and is much more streetable that a Ferrari 458. I’m not sure why people hate on American cars so much, especially when they are misinformed and have never experienced any of the cars they prattle on about.

    5. Youngun

yes the zr-1 isnt track preped, its the lighter, firmer, more powerful vette + lots of CF, just like ACR. if you watch th run, read through the right up and check the facts, both chervolet and dodge offer a certain track only tire option (the rules dictate, the car must be able to be registered for use on the road, nothing about tire selection), i only want to make it a fair fight with jap and euro cars on same tire set up (having tread), every gt5 racer knows racing tyres makes a big difference!
I’ve nothing against american cars but its mostly american muscle and i wouldnt agree that american cars are the prettiest, not by far. there just pure presents and attitude, eg the dodge challeger, grrrrrr. i like the the new offerings from gm and ford us, camaro, mustang, charger, all going back to there roots but euro does best, fact. one of my favourite cars is the shelbly gt500. but the fact that most mass companies are going global is ruining the euro image. like the mk3 focus, destroyed and no more RS version due to it supposedly going over seas. maybe its just me being so used to quality.

    6. JTSnooks

No, you’re just wrong. They both ran the ‘Ring on street legal tires. Some of the stickiest street legal tires you can buy, but still street legal tires. I don’t know where you read that they were on slicks, but the fact is they weren’t.

And FYI, they’re not the only cars to have set Nurburgring records while using sticky street-legal tires of the same type ;)

    7. Youngun

Maybe i am, maybe i aint but when the spec sheet says “base specification car with optional super-slick track DOT competition tires” super slick doesnt sound road legal, not in this country anyway (maybe thats how where different!)

    8. JTSnooks

Ah, so that’s why. “DOT” stands for “Department of Transportation”, which means the tires are considered legal for street use in the US. I couldn’t tell you if they’re street legal in Europe, but they certainly are here. And for the Nurburgring times, I believe the ZR1 ran on more “normal” tires, while the Z06 Carbon was run on the super-sticky optional Michelin tires. Unless the ZR1 was re-run since I last saw a time for it.

    9. Youngun

yeh, new zr-1 run time run time end of last year, nearly all american muscle sports cars ran on them now, europe dont no but Britain due to our bad weather etcetera we need tread on the tyres, there are certain makes that do do EU road legal racing tyres which are between sports and racing but not full slick tyres as they still have some kind of deep tread. always forget that ur laws are different over there, maybe thats why all the euro/jap cars ran on the spots tyres then as japan ues similar road laws (bit harsher too). sorry

  14. llNovall

Performance to Monetary value is what needs to be looked at. Look in Motortrend 2-3 months back, and you’ll see a track shootout at Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. Porsche was 2nd place with a GT3 RS, a $160,000+ car, behind an $80,000 Corvette ZO6, by nearly 2 seconds per lap. “Europeans have the refinement” yes, I’d agree, but the performance and handling edge is getting smaller if not gone altogether. Even in the smaller car market, the new Chevy Cruze and Ford Focus are making waves in their segment. Heck, Road and Track just did a head to head comparison between the Nissan GTR and Chevy’s new Camaro ZL1 and the results and comments were close. GTR=$90k. ZL1= $59k. Neither the performance of the GTR, nor the added refinement in my opinion was worth $31k more than the ZL1. All I have to say, is keep an eye on the new American offerings. Gone are the days of just good enough. Performance, styling, and value are the goals for todays American cars, and I see it only getting better.

    1. Youngun

Most comparisons are hard as with GT-R and ZL-1, its like comparing (dont kill me on this) FIFA and Pro Evo, both good at what they do but one has more bells and whistles. Take the gtr, awesome machine, perfect in everyway, and with everything you need for everyday life at that price(sat-nav, air-con, cruise control, surround sound + DAB radio, xenon lights etc) where as the camaro is basic until you start adding the options which pump up the cost. american cars should just compete with other american cars (zr-1 vs acr, srt vs zo6) as they never make it over the pond anyway unless imported, just like most European/Japanese cars dont go over there (458 vs mp4-12c vs m600 vs r8 v10 vs 911 turbo s). shame really

    2. JTSnooks

Youngun, you really have no idea at all what you’re talking about. The ZL-1 has very few options and comes with nearly everything you could imagine standard (air-con and cruise control, really? Have you ever bought anything above a Polo? Nearly ever car sold in the US comes with air-conditioning as standard equipment). The GTR does include a few model-specific features that aren’t offered (like it’s PD-developed performance infotainment system), but so does the Camaro (such as the heads-up display). And are you saying that we can’t buy a 458, MP4-12C, M600, R8 V10, or 911 Turbo S over here? All of those are available other than the Noble which I’m not sure about.

    1. Tvensky

well at least 1 track will be some clear from same car.. anyway, I still dont understand how is it possible to do best drifts with only 2 cars.. drift should be possible with any FR car, it all depends on the driver in real world… ( I know, car is important, but you have to agree Drift isnt racing its pease of art on the track) Driver is dancing and good dancer shoud be able to dance good with any shoes :)

    2. tube chaser

^ Well said, but if you check the top 250 leaderboard you’ll see quite a few drifters breaking away from the conventional choice.

  15. JEMcG

So boring. They have been doing the same format for well over a year now. Change it! And I hate drifting so it’s only ever a couple of same old rolling start single race or a time trial. There is no justification for this laborious content. Also it doesn’t warrant being in the news section every week. Just tell us when it stops and or changes PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF EVOLUTION.

  16. Satellite440

supersub7 – “… its obvious that Euro cars (Not just performance cars) out perform American cars of the same class round a track (unless the track is Route X) due to the better supsension etc.”

No, We have two high powered shotguns known as the ZR1 and Viper ACR-X. The ACR-X is the fastest REAL production car out there right now other than the Gumpert Apollo which only beats it by a second. The ZR1 is only beaten by GERMAN cars.

Sorry bud, our leaf springs apparently out perform all of your cars.

    1. supersub7

It’s sad to see the part of the video i posted about how can the Americans make a car for other countries when they don’t even know about them. GERMANY IS IN EUROPE LMFAO!!!!!!

    2. Youngun

ACR was on Slicks, LFA was on road legal production car standard sports mediums, same with gtr. Wouldnt really call the radical a production car, track car with indicators lol but still….. under 7 minutes in a road car… close to the zonda r!

    3. Satellite440

Did I say Germany wasn’t in europe? No. But a lot of Germans *Myself included* don’t consider the German cars as part of the Euro fleet.

The Radical SR8 is more of a kit car than anything, And if you were being honest with yourself I think you’d agree too.

    1. JTSnooks

No, that would be the Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Gallardo, and Audi R8 that self-immolate themselves on a fairly regular basis. Haven’t heard of any fire issues with the Viper or Vette (unless someone modified them shoddily).

  17. BWX

Great, I beat the gold time my second lap by 2 seconds and I’m done for a week.

KAZ, give me more A-Spec for crying out loud!

Make the A-Spec longer, more interesring, with the more aggressive AI from arcade mode. Use tire wear, a pit stop, maybe some weather. How about an A-Spec 10 race championship with 30 lap races?

Come on man, use your imagination! Sick of B-Spec and DT, and short boring, repetitive A-Spec!!! Give me a reason, or at least some incentive to look forward to playing GT5.

    1. swilso13

BWX, you don’t have to do the TT’s just for the Gold, that as we all know is easy. Spend more time lowering your lap times, to see where you end up on the leaderboard. I usually get within the top 2000, I can spend a couple of hours having fun with that.

  18. psntomaz

Its sad how many on here are comparing Top Model American Cars to Top model Euro/Jap cars. What about the Middle trims??

  19. psntomaz

A 2011 Charger RT wieghts just about the same at the BMW 550i (since that was Chryslers Benchmark). It also handle just as well or even Better than the 550i.. Read the Stats. Mototrend even said the Charger RT was just a Transimission away from being a Legend by out performing the 550i…

    1. supersub7

Motortrend was the website i metioned earlier that only did a two laps in the BMW then run the Cadillac till it beat it, a bit bias i think? why wasn’t the BMW run over and over till they got its best lap time?

    2. supersub7

Also isn’t the RT the sports version of the charger? if so wouldn’t it have to go against the sport version of the 5 series which would be the M5. I wonder the outcome between them two? as i said before its biased.

    3. supersub7

The charger also weighs roughly the same as the M5 F10, the charger has a 5.7 litre v8 and the M5 has a 4.4 twin turbo v8. That test would be a lot more even as the M5 is the sports version, which would win round a track?

    4. JTSnooks

The Charger R/T is not the “sports version” of the Charger, either. That would be the M5 vs. SRT8, in which case I believe the M5 would thoroughly trounce it. As it should since it costs a good 30-50% more.

    5. psntomaz

He lost all Cred. by comparing a M5 to a $30955 Dodge Charger RT. Dummy… 370hp Charger vs a 411hp BMW is a better comparison than a 370hp Charger and a 550hp BMW. Please no more Comments from you

    6. psntomaz

and Yes the M5 should kill the SRT8 since it is lighter and has 550 Supercharged V8. The Charger weights about 200lbs more and is 470 N/A…

  20. supersub7

I don’t know why people get such a hard on over American cars? Ok some look beautiful but they all handle like crap compared to there European/Japanese counterparts. They are mostly big engines slapped into a massive heavy chassis still running on leaf springs.

Seeing that there is an abundance of japanese cars already in GT5 they need to add a lot more European cars or American cars made for the European market.

    1. Satellite440

The Cadillac CTS-V destroyed records for 4 door sedans AND Wagons, Seems like we should have it in there.

The thing about American cars is, A huge V8 under the hood with more power than you will EVER need is quite an amazing thing, especially to drive it in real life.

    2. tpark103

I have to say I agree. Most American cars have sloppy transmissions with long gears that for the most part, the rest of the world have small regard or respect for. Don’t get me wrong CTS-V the ZL-1 and a few others are amazing, however there not in the game.

    3. KJVBlueXJ

You might also want to consider the fact that the Dodge Viper ACR held the Nurburgring lap time record for quite some time…

    4. WeZR1

Not all american cars are made for performance, the ones that are however aren’t overpowered piles of junk on leaf springs. Most americans just want a car that starts in the morning and gets them down the highway to work. That being said, I seriously doubt that everybody in europe drives only Mercedes, BMW, Pagani’s and Ferrari’s. the european market has its fair share of undesirable cars.
I fully agree there should be more american and european cars in the game. It just depends on where you live.
Americans want more American cars in the game, Europeans want more of their cars in the game, and the japanese market is probably pretty satisfied with the car list or wants more japanese cars.
What would i know though, I’m overweight and don’t know how to turn right.

    5. supersub7

Just had a look for info on the Cadillac Vs an M5, in a straight line the Cadillac is faster. They did two laps of a track in an M5 to get a time then run the Cadillic over and over till it beat it.

The M5 that they used was a model that was first produced in 2005, The Cadillac was a 2011 model.

    6. supersub7

@WeZR1 Neither are all Euro cars made for perfomance but they are all designed to be able to take corners.

Here in the Uk i see more BMW’s, VW’s, Audi’s and Mercs on the motorways than any other makes. We also have a lot of Euro Fords.

    7. supersub7

The CTS is more powerful and should be more advanced than the M5. Price doesn’t come into it both cars are in the same class and the CTS should have the upper hand due to it being 6 years younger but it doesn’t.

    8. WeZR1

I understand your point supersub, you live in a european market you see more european cars. I live in america so naturally i see more american cars on the roadways.
but I’m sure that ALL cars are designed to take corners, if that weren’t the case us americans would all drive trains!
All cars are designed to take corners, some more efficiently that others. It’s an argument that will never really matter or be important because the average automobile consumer in any county doesn’t generally buy a car then go test it’s top speed and how fast it can go around a corner without spinning out. They just drive it where they need to go.
america is generally smooth roads, we don’t demand suspension perfection from our auto makers. Europeans have a substantial amount more of older, windier roads and demand a more refined suspension from their auto companies.

The CTS is based on a Mercedes E class, so it’s a European car with American engine and a sat nav obsessed with fast food outlets.

    10. ChrisGT

@WeZR1 His “opinion” consists of bogus claims stated in a factual way.

“They are mostly big engines slapped into a massive heavy chassis still running on leaf springs.” -Oh really?

Also, as you can see on youtube, the brand new F10 M5 still can’t run away from a manual 09 V, even with its fancy pants gearbox.

    11. supersub7

@WeZr1 i also see your point, Everybody would like to see cars in GT that they see every day on the roads.

GT is a racing game at the end of the day and its obvious that Euro cars (Not just performance cars) out perform American cars of the same class round a track (unless the track is Route X) due to the better supsension etc.

    12. supersub7

@ChrisGT That statment is more towards all the comments i see in the forums for American muscle car requests in next the DLC.

    13. ps3finest

I dont understand why any one is arguing. I was under the impression that american cars were built to be loud and pretty and european cars were built to be loud and technically advanced and japanese cars are built to be advanced and efficient. Call me nerdy, but I find that cars are art. It just depends on what you like to look at.

    14. NewCadillac

I like how you don’t mention real American sports cars, Moslers, SSC’s, or the VenomGT. Trust me, if America can put a man on the moon it can make a car go around a corner.

    15. tube chaser

China will put a man on the moon soon. What can we expect from their developing auto industry in the years to come?

Haha I saw the main thumbnail about 6 times before I realized it was one of my pictures! Thanks for the recognition!

Hi all. Im new to the site but not to gt as I have played all the games so far. I need help with drifting as I just cant do it. Can any one tell me the best cars and set ups to use. Any help will be most greatfull.

Buick special, fully modified, take turns around 60mph, 3rd or 4th gear, slow in, then full throttle thru the turns and practice. I find it easier to use a dualshock controller, Just keep your steering and throttle thumbs real “twitchy” and try to get a feel of the car control and you’ll do fine. other than that maybe just try to practice on a track with wide corners to give yourself a little more room for error.

And if that doesn’t help then try searching the forums as there are quite a few GTP members who will friend you on PSN and teach you how online. Good Luck!

  22. Lambob

I may take my first crackshot at Drifting, a year into this game, to begin with the Nur 24h TT , lol.
I don’t know how I’ll fare, as most drifters I see on this track are always in the grass. I’ll check out Team SHMO (subforum) tunes for some V8 tunes & advice.

    1. NoonenF1

I’ve never drifted either in GT5 and I’ve had GT5 since release date. For that matter I have never drifted in a Gran Turismo game apart from the GT HD demo that came out on Christmas ’06.

I think I will give these drift trials a-go now that I use the DFGT (I also would like to get that PSN trophy too…).

    2. Brianuk1

Cheers wezR1 thanx for that. Also I have not played GT online cos I have played raceing games online before and find its full of muppits who just want to cut corners, ram into you or drive the wrong way round. And thats not fun for me.and I would like to play GT online so if any one wants to add me on PS then my game name is brianuk1 and I look forward to racing with some grown ups.

    1. Brianuk1

hi nooninF1. Do you or anyone else no if you can get the trophy on arcade? Or dose it have to be done online? And also can I do it useing all the track or is it just sector mode only?

  23. TokoTurismo

Hello everyone, I see there are new seasonal events are available. :) Hmm. I like this, thank you PD these are indeed wonderful. *v*

Tires is the US/Canadian spelling. Tyres is the UK spelling. Like favor/favour and color/colour respectively.

    2. Famine

I’m British, so I tend to stick with the English “tyres” in favour of the US English “tires”. It saves confusion when I want to sleep in a rubber hammock.

    1. Lambob

yep, did it in the Aventador last TT in Rome Reverse. Yikes is right, but clean driving is rewarding. (and necessary lol)
