Just took the kpgc10 for a blast, nothing too exhilerating but i do like the old Japanese, the toscana track is a good'un

Personally I would have liked a MR/RR event they seen to be just gathering dust except the ones i can use for the supercar event

japanese 80's 90's and now classics?? cmon PD surely you can think of better

Great......just when my Internet goes up the wall.......:grumpy:

your internet down? so are thousands in the uk, microsoft sent out an update that screwed up peoples internet connections, reported over 50,000 people affected already, computers set for auto download of updates are buggered basically

I do tech support for sky, its a nightmare

Terrible.
Every car you face is slow, except for the Dome, which takes second place by about 26 seconds on Tsukuba.

D- on effort.

It's for CLASSICS. You understand? Classic road cars, especially old Japanese ones, are slow. They only have around 100 odd hp, 150 if you're lucky, of course they're slow.

And that's not including the issue of your car, which is probably some 300hp maxed out car on RS tyres against cars with CS tyres and around half your power.

Try leveling the playing field and leave out the overkill parts and tyres first before saying something's terrible.

Mine is partly due to my own fault. Changed ISP to some idiots who don't know the difference between broadband and dial-up. Doubt it'll get fixed until next week. :(

Races are five laps each.

1st place present in Tsukuba, Trial mountain and Toscana is a helmet, and golds at Suzuka and CSR5 will get you a firesuit. 2nd and 3rd in all 5 races will get you a paint chip and horn, respectively.

Nice; car of choice the KPGC10 - one of the better looking standard models (that comes with a minimum amount of damage by the way; at least the first time I noticed it).

It appears that PD is having problems integrating their DLC content into seasonals.

I misspoke, maybe.

The AI (NOT me) drove the Dome. I drove a Fairlady 270Z which I took extra care not to let get past approx. 380PP. On Comfort Soft like the AI. And I came in second. Third place was 5 seconds behind me. First place, the AI Dome, won by 24 seconds.

That range is absolutely terrible. If I weren't there, the 1st and 2nd place cars would have been 29 seconds apart.

So yes I misspoke but chill out a little buddy. I'm right.

Woot! wasn't expecting this. I'll use my old Celica 1600, slowly upgrading until i'm competitive.

Checked right now and the answer is no

:indiff:

I think I don't have old japanese cars in my garage... so maybe I'll have to buy one for this one... but that can wait for tomorrow...:)

Not easy with comfort soft even with dome zero. My fairlady stands no chance on cs when dome zero is on pole.

Looks like I won't be doing this seasonal tonight.... wife has the CMA awards on...

Ok this is unrelated to this seasonal, but after I finished beating all these ones I went to do the bspec ones that were new last week I think. O man so funny watching my bspec guy going around high speed ring in my full upgraded Prius lol. It's so loud, it's the only car you can hear lol.

Here's PD replaying the same old crap. The forums have had so many great ideas for seasonals but all we get are redressed repeats of the old. Wheres the rally seasonal, wheres the kart seasonal? Time to go trade this disc in on MW3.

And you only upgrade the generator when you kit the engine out. So no performance gains, but that piece is loud. lol

Lol ya made me laugh that the car is supposed to be silent and the smallest upgrade and it becomes louder than an entire race track full of cars. For the record I came third with it. I was down like 20-30pp and my driver was an idiot going right up behind people and just slamming on the brakes instead of simply passing them which is why I didn't come first.

Hi
Yep, no messing around here, took the Dome for a ride on comfort softs, job done :)

Havn't got time to mess around with a clapped out Mitsubishi, back to grinding Bob at Le Mans 👍

This is sooo dumb. I tried to make it a good race, so I took my '67 2000GT and dialed it down a bit and had a good race for about three laps and then went after the Dome, but NO...he's 21 sec ahead! What the h**l. Apparently, all the other cars are there as moving chicanes. So now I've got to tune to blow past all the others just to catch the Dome. How insane can PD get?

Well, I just had a great race at Tsukuba with the Isuzu Bellett GT-R from the current OCD. Tuned to 392PP and 166 HP. Overtook the Honda S800 on the final straight. Yep, no Dome. the only time I saw the Dome was against my Toyota 2000GT.

I may have to revise my earlier slander of PD re: this new seasonal.

I bought the Honda 1300 9S '70 from the OCD and tuned it to 139 HP, which is about as far as you can go without any engine rebuilds, and actually beat the Dome at Suzuka East by 1 sec. Nice little car with an air-cooled engine. Best thing about it is that it handles very well in the bends.
