Thoughts, anyone? I e-mailed them to ask what price these are at.

Edit: Cost of one of these badboys is $7500

One of these were installed in some guys car in one of the pimp my ride episodes. It was pure madness. I want one if I ever get a SUV.

Holy Crap !... That is one serious sub... Don't think I can find a usable location in the Saxo for one of these.. (Besides - It costs more than the car is worth :) )

I find huge subs pointless. Whenever I start driving I'm gonna have a neat, tidy setup that focuses on sound quality rather than sub size.

I'm just impressed by this, from an engineering point of view. I've got 2 x 8" in a DIY experimental enclosure which works pretty well..

So friggen pointless...the SPL would be insane and blow out your windows and your ear drums. I'll stick to my 10' Basslink.

I would never put a Sub in my car big or small, infact OEM stereo's are just fine.

Fine for some people, not me, I stripped the entire stock stereo out for a SQL system, not a thumping SPL system. It's sounds good and isn't overly loud at normal listening levels. However I did Dynomat the inside, so if I do turn it up you don't have to hear my bass....people that do that are idiots.

Becase that sucks and will blow out really fast.

I don't give a ****... This time (third system) I just got this not from eBay but Pepboys, plugged it in, flip up the switch, and enjoyed it.

Why anyone would need more than this is beyond me unless you really do want to blow out your ears or really really want someone to break into your car.

The outside of the tub is ****ed up but it works and I don't care if they steal it because it won't last long in their hands and it's probably **** to them anyway.

The only idiots I have to worry about are the ****ing amateur that try to break into my car, make a mess, and make me have to buy a new ****ing window that cost more than the ****ing speaker. :irked:

I had two Audiobahn subs and someone broke into my truck...they weren't after the system but the Christmas present in my back seat, the system was a bonus.

But now I have this...

Small, simple, and sounds good.

It's the Bugatti Veyron of subwoofers!

Except the Veyron won't vibrate loose every single nut, bolt, screw, and seal in your car, causing it to fall apart before you get home from the audio-accessories installation shop.

Impressive - in a nightclub - utterly pointless in an automobile. Prepubecant boys will be impressed with it in the same way they are with over-sized breast implants.

A few of you guys seem to have had bad experiences with stero systems getting stolen. Isnt much of a problem over where I live. Or maybe thats because me and my friends get round and the people that do the stealing like us.

We just stick the subs in the truncks and uprate the oem speakers where the old ones would fit so the car looks pretty much stock from the inside.

I need about 6 of them in my room for when om playing GT4 only one word sweetness I bet when that sucker hits it hits hard and powerfully

I would love to know the SPL of this woolfer at full power.

retsmah
12,000 watts... that's a 16 horsepower sub! :D

edit: wait, it says 6000 rms watts... so I guess thats only 8 horsepower :p

Meh, it'll overtake a 2CV in a straight line though
