It's amazing how unfinished products are typically more valuable than the finished ones! I'm looking at those thinking how badly someone wants to snatch the unpainted resin off the table.

I'll have to grab one of those 300ZXs when they come out and compare it with the old Corgi designed model from the 90s. Also, according to Orange Track Diecast K-Day will be October 20th, for those interested in going; their reported source is a number of Kmart managers, though Mattel hasn't released any public info yet.

Hot Wheels are looking interesting. I see some Tomica influences, also some Black Box era Hot Wheels influences.
Seriously? That's as bad as saying your dog ate your homework.
Wow. That is pretty annoying. JUST PAY IT. Teach your son a lesson, don't waste other people's time.

Went to the closest K-Mart (an hour away from my apartment) and a local collector store to get these.

Not big on the 55th Anniversary colors, but I've always been a fan of the GS430. Picked up the CX-5 and Escalade only because I've driven so many in real life.

Well hello guys! Been a while since I have posted anything from the collectors antique mall again. Haven't been there all year long due to a series of money related problems, some of which being right when I could go, so it's not until now I was able to. While it's not much of anything interesting, here's what I got:

Buick Stocker. This one has actually been there for over a year and I had been meaning to buy it ever since. They had another there too, but I can't remember if it was the other variant or not. $2.00
Radio Flyer Wagon. Love the casting and love the wheels. My brother got this one years ago, but I didn't. Glad to finally own one! $1.19
Ferrari 355. Like the color and I don't have many of these in my collection. $1.19
IMG_2903.JPG

Aeroflash. Got it simply because I liked the color scheme. $1.19
Corvette. Liked the color and the wheels along with the painted taillights, been a while since I have bought another one of these. $1.19
Nissan Custom Z. Always liked this casting, especially for it's opening doors and I didn't have the light blue variant, only the metal flake one. So it's nice to have the other! $1.19
Chevy 1500. A good truck from my childhood that I somehow I don't own many of, yet my brother has a whole bunch. $1.19
IMG_2904.JPG

Peterbilt Dump Truck. Yet another childhood favorite of mine and it actually had been there since last year. Though ours was the light blue variant, it's beat all to heck now and is missing the flap, so it's predictable why I got this one. I may have overpaid for this one, but I really don't care, I am just to glad to have a near mint version of one of my childhood favorites. $5.00
IMG_2905.JPG
Ferrari F40. Back when I was 8, I can remember I getting what I think was a gold Corvette, and then letting my brother have this one, which I later regretted. Now 17 years later, I finally have one of my own! :) $1.00
IMG_2906.JPG
Miata. I have this one, but it's beat up, so I got this one since it was in better shape! $1.00
IMG_2907.JPG
BMW 850i. Despite not being a BMW fan, I do like this casting and it's one I don't have enough of. I bought it with the intention to customize it, but I may just remove the tampos since they look rough and leave the rest the way it is since it's condition isn't too bad otherwise. $1.00
IMG_2908.JPG
Yatming trailer of some sort. It's pretty rare for me to buy anything that isn't Hot Wheels I guess because I inherited my dad's intense bias for them, but me and my brother have had a thing for trailers since we were kids and trailers are something I tend to take note of regardless of the brand since we don't have very many of them. So that's what made me want to buy it. $5.00
IMG_2909.JPG
They actually had a yellow station wagon to go with it, but I didn't care for it, so I didn't buy it.

And here's the receipt.

Overall, not a bad run I guess, but kind of underwhelming compared to my other visits, but I guess once you have so many good ones, it makes the others seem like disappointments in comparison.

Neat that you have such place to find these time warps.

More previews from the convention: 1, 2

My thoughts: That Datsun 510 Team Transporter is a scalpers dream. The Golf in the Gulf series is a wasted opportunity to use something much better like a GT-40 perhaps. Love the new cheater slicks on the Willys.

And anyone know what the white car is with the glass roof top row? Edit: Possibly an Audi RS5

This one is just the best. Those wheels.
I know right? I was kind of jealous my brother had this one and I didn't. Feels good to own one! They actually had another there, exactly the same.

Indeed and I am glad you like them! I will be honest though, if you think these are great, you've seen nothing yet! These don't even hold a candle to some of my other purchases I have gotten from the same place in the past 6 years! I've gotten everything from vintage redlines, to blackwalls and a few rare ones.

See for yourself:
....And again, that's all from the same place! The place has a rather large number of old Hot Wheels spanning from the redline era to at least the late 90's. It's a great place, however I rarely get to go due it's inconvenient location and plus, it's a money pit. :P That said, you won't see me post things of this nature too often as a result.

$1.19, still carded. I'd have bought one, too.

I'm like Jarrod on the Gulf liveries now. *gag reflex* I don't see a single loser on the Transporters, but I'm kinda over BRE now too. Still, castings looks interesting.

"999PCS"?

Bingo.

This is an event special edition for Malaysia Expo 2018. And the fact they haven’t printed the quantity might actually mean it really is exclusive to the event.

The actual quantity made is a fun pub quiz. 300 were handed out in a goodie bag. Ig made some more available for individual sale at the show. The grocery owner said someone asked Ignition at the show, who said 400 were made. I just saw on Instagram a figure of 500.

So... I think it’s a certain there are not 999 made. The actual figure anyone can make up their own!

Wow. I thought it was going to be more, not less. Nice snag then my man. 👍👍

Could be more. These are a license to print money. Why stop at 999. Lucky I got one but at a considerable cost. The grocery owner had a smile on his face when I left, that’s for sure. “See you next time!” Right....

Trailer looks plastic. Are the older ones plastic? @a6m5 can you read the description and confirm the trailer is diecast or plastic? I did a translation and it vaguely mentions diecast but not sure if it’s refering to the trailer.

The trailer on the Honda Transporter is metal, not sure why this one wouldn't be. Like the colour scheme but one transporter and the heavy equipment truck is enough for me. Pass
If it is all metal I’m going to preorder, otherwise not.

Semi-retirement? :P:tup:

If @AudiBMW doesn't order one, along three beige and two maroon(?) Corolla's to go with it. I'm going to be very disappointed.

Wow, that's a good one. In regards to the trailer, it says "even the floor" is diecast. They look like plastic, or 3D printed model in those pictures though, right? Going by description, I say they are diecast trailers & worth the money. I don't think they've released those silver transport trailers since the very first release(green tractor head).
............. I was reading your post & was thinking I don't know this @AudiBMW guy. That he's a lurker. Well played......

P.S. You know I'm not a fan of those castings. Better chance of me ordering more Carinas before I get more Corollas. Not a fan!
