Guys I want to know who you think should be ranked #1 in college football. I'm think Auburn but I'm biased cause they're my favorite team.

Oklahoma, hands down.

They've rolled over just about every team they've played this year.

Oh, and all you Auburn fans out there, good luck with Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl.

Yeah they crushed Oklahoma St, and Texas A&M

Aggieland is the hardest place in the nation to go into and win. And let us not mention that the Aggies have some bad blood with OU. I mean who wouldn't with a 77-0 beating the year before? Not only that, but OU-A&M has become somewhat of a rivalry as of late.

Did you watch OU play Oklahoma State this year? That game was by far OSU's best played game of the season. Plus, it was at Pokeville, so that lifted OSU's game that much more.

Atleast there is a smart one here that agrees with me. Auburn slipped against Tennessee and thats why they aren't in the Orange Bowl. Now they get to lose to the Hokies to further prove they aren't the #1 team in the NCAA.

If Oklahoma is so good then how does a team like OSU (who is decent) have their best game of the year against them? The only really tough team the sooners played was Texas.

Auburn isn't playing in the Orange Bowl because of preseason polls.

And they will beat VT.

Have you ever heard a thing called a rivalry game? Apparently not. OU-OSU is a big rival nowadays. In years past, it was not so much so because OU always blew out OSU. But since Les Miles has been the head coach at OSU, OSU has become a much better and consistent team. Obviously you know nothing about OSU and how badly they want to beat OU every year. OU is OSU's one team they always want to beat; OU is the one team that is always circled on their schedule.

Let us talk about the rest of OU's schedule. OU went into A&M and won. The win is that much more impressive considering the bad blood between the two teams and the rivalry that has arisen as of late.

Kansas State, an otherwise bad team this year, also played their absolute best game against OU. And what did OU do in that game? They won. Do you have any idea how pumped K-State gets to play OU? Apparently not. Did you see last years game? That is just one example of how big of a game OU is to K-State. This year was the same way, except with OU winning.

Now we can talk about Texas. Let's look at Texas's score for that game. What was it again? Zero! A shutout against one of the Top 5 teams in the nation; that is pretty freakin' impressive for any team.

Now let's talk about more of OU's schedule. Specifically non-conference. OU played Bowling Green, Houston, and Oregon. Granted, Houston is a crap team, but Bowling Green and Oregon are solid teams year in and year out. They are not necessarily great teams, but they are not pushovers like Louisiana Monroe and Louisiana Tech, not too mention Division II-A's The Citadel. It does not say much when your premier non-conference game is LaTech or you have a Division II-A team on your schedule.

Both Bowling Green and Oregon played two of their best games of the year. I cannot say if they were their best played games, but they were very solid games for the two teams.

If you say the only team OU has played this year is Texas, then who has Auburn played that is so great? The Citadel? What a joke there! LSU? Not that great of a year for them and really an off year for them, at least compared to last year. Tennessee is not a very good team at all, I mean they lost to Notre Dame at home and they barely beat Kentucky (Kentucky is terrible). The Georgia win was nothing impressive, as Georgia is the most overrated team this year. If Alabama had played any offense at all, then that game would have been much closer than 21-13.

So you blame all of it on the preseason polls? Maybe Auburn should have played better last year so they would not have been so low in the polls. Not only that, but maybe Auburn should have had a more convincing SEC Championship win against a not-so-great Tennessee team.

Thank you Vash, for stating exactly what I was thinking, I was just too lazy to type it all out. The Sugar Bowl will be Auburn's only real challenge this season. The only reason VT lost against USC is because of an ohsobogus Offensive Pass Interference call. I was actually hoping that USC would lose to UCLA so that we would be able to get revenge on the opening day loss.

I'm not saying the sooners are a bad team. I just think Auburn is better. We could argue all day but the only way to settle this would be a 4 to 8 team playoff which isn't happening anytime soon.

I am not saying Auburn is a bad team; but when compared to OU, Auburn is the inferior team, especially with their lackluster performance against Tennessee in the SEC Championship.

If you really want to bash one of the top three teams, bash USC. They have had plenty of lackluster wins this year. Not only that, but the only reason they are going is because they are the returning champions. I'm not saying returning champions should have some special consideration, but USC has had a complete free ride this year.

The only playoff I would consider is a four team one. More than four teams and too many extra games are added.

I do not really see so great of a problem with the BCS right now. At least we have two of the top three teams playing for the national championship. Back before the BCS, we could have potentially had the three teams in three different bowl games. Just imagine this, a three way split national title. How screwed up would that be?

Well if you notice I only talked about Oklahoma because nobody said anything about USC being better than Auburn. If I were to rank the top 3 teams it would be like this.

1. Auburn
2. Oklahoma
3. USC

And besides Auburn being left out of the Orange bowl my biggest problem with the BCS is that Auburn is playing VT not Utah. Other than that I always liked the BCS. I think it needs 1 or 2 changes to be better.

I actually think this year's system has been the best so far. Instead of completely throwing away the system, it just needs to be tweaked some more. It is just like any new "product"; before it can be produced and liked by all, it will need some modifications to make it work its best.

I don't think I really have a problem between either Utah or VaTech playing Auburn in their bowl. The one team I have a problem with being in the BCS is Pitt. That is a complete and utter joke.
