You have to hand it to him, that's one talented gerbil flying that plane...

I think the most difficult part of that flight was when the car passed on the left.
You could see the plane getting pushed up and to the right.

And flying in a straight line in a tunnel isn't that hard i think.
There aren't really changing wind directions, except when a vehicle passes you.

You just have to keep focused :)

Kinda agreed with DD there, it didn't seemed to hard to do, but then again, I've never done that myself. For a moment, I thought it was a real airplane going though that tunnel, now that would be one skilled, though mad pilot!

Sorry I got to about 30 seconds in before the music made me want to eat my own face.....

...and it does seem a bit pointless, and dare I say a tad dull. Oh look an RC plane in a straight tunnel flying above the cars. Now if it had been at car height...............

Scaff

lol gotta love the TG theme when it comes.

The terrible song is from Scooter, name One
that must we one of his wurst songs yet :)

Agreed on all fronts!
I couldn't help but think to myself... If this guy wants to move the plane to the other side ofthe tunnel so bad then why doesn't he just put it in the car? ;)

The video thread...

And what video thread might that be ?...

(And YES - I know there's a FUNNY Video Thread - Think this one qualifies ?....)

Hit the nail on the head!

Speaking from my experience with various R/C's, i cant say that is too hard. Any pilot with decent experience can do it. Nothing top notch like some aerobatics performed in competitions.

I've done a bit of R/C flying myself, and it didn't strike me as something that would be overly difficult for most competent R/C pilots after a bit of practice.

All-in-all, it seems to be a pretty plane stunt.

Worst song ever, but this totally reminded me of the last mission in Ace Combat 5!

I bet he didn't even practice; he just winged it.
Oh God, please don't start that.

No more!

It seems I'm not the only one who found this a little underwhemling - cool idea and well done to the guy too. I'm keen to see any more he does.

And well done on the motorcycle helmet. ;)

Having flown RC airplanes a fair amount, I have to say, it's a heck of a lot harder than it looks - especially in the case of wind from passing cars.

[edit] No, for a good stunt flier (the guys that can hang it on the prop 3 feet off the ground doing torque rolls), it's not that hard to do. But for an average enthusiast, it would be difficult.
