Eric.Jav, you got a meatball with two laps to go? As far as I know you have like four laps to pit for that and if the race finish is before that you can finish without taking care of it.
Also, that qualifying session was the bigger cluster**** I've ever seen.![]()

I think in this case we are going to see quite a few DP drivers making "HPD-esque" dive-bomb moves. Since this is a special event we are going to see quite a few drivers who don't have much experience with multi-class racing when there is a decent (10sec) difference in speeds. We are going to see quite a few aggressive/bonehead moves. If we end up in the same split (doubtful) I promise I'll make my usual passive moves, but I know much of the rest of the field will not be so patient. Good luck Caddy drivers, I don't envy you one bit.
From the practice I did in the hosted sessions the bus stop looked likely for an incident. It also allows more room for the Riley DP to clear the Caddys on the strait.
JavYou where on the same race eric and I were, didn't realize you where there! I hate it when people are on your gearbox like that on a pace lap.
JavYeah, I know how you feel! I always do it when running the Vette on the Proto/GT series, in some ocations eventhough I'm in pole and express the intentions of leaving a gap between LMP and GT very clearly on the text chat some guys will totally ignore it and get right under the wing of the HPD in front wich is a pretty dumb thing to do...
Advice for turn 9 anyone?
Don't know how it is in the Caddy, but that damn corner feels like an ice skating rink in the DP. I feel like I'm absolutely crawling through there and if I try to go even a little faster I spin.
What kind of speed are you guys entering/carrying/exiting in turn 9? Typical out/in/out line? Apexing around the end of the inside rumble strips?
It's almost worth starting in pits and passing the slower cars as they sort themselves out. It might be my game plan to run my race without first turn hero!
