Well, not long to go to the start of the race now, I'm trying to figure out if the sportschau live feed works or not.

Dang missed the start... C'mon BRUNO!

Doesnt work for me :guilty::guilty::guilty: and I cant find any other live feed :ouch:

Not working for me either.:grumpy:

I'll just wait and watch the rebroadcast later on I guess. I'll have to stay away from here so I don't find out the results.:)

Good luck Mercs!

:D

Watching it live with my new surround system. Keep looking behind me what that sound is.

Spengler takes it!

YES

Whoooooooooooop whoooooooooooooooooooooop whhhhhhhhhhhhhhhooooooooooop

Happy much?

Good win. Paffett 2nd and Farfus 3rd.

First Audi long way away.

I'm so happy, Jens Marquardt was cool as a cucumber, but it was so good to see Mario Theissen there to enjoy it.. and I love the fact that Norbert Haug had a smile on his face too.

Great Job by Bruno and the team... Farfus really did well too, kept his head.

:D

Why exactly? A Dallara won the race, just like a Dallara will win every race. :sly:

Indeed, while I appreciate its been a long time for BMW, it would be a bit more special if the car was substantially different to its rivals. Kind of seems a bit hollow to me.
Congrats anyway though to Spengler and BMW.

I may be away for WTCC, but this is absolutely lovely! A tremendous day for BMW surely. Now I'm in tears 2x! :D

Let's hope this continues for the next races. I'm a happy bunny.

What I dont understand is if the cars are all alike why then

BMW 1200kg - 480hp
AUDI 1100kg - 460hp
Mercedez 1100kg -500hp

I don't care, the (one of the) team I support won :D

The only difference between the cars is the bodywork and in one make's case the engine.

What DTM does with weight and horse power is down to DTM. That's if and it's a very big if that those figures can even be trusted.

There is a lot of smoke and mirrors in DTM both from DTM and from the manufacturers.

Im sorry I got the mercedez weight wrong, its 1100 kg

Great race nonetheless and Im sure the BMW engine is developed by BMW because in the last race Spengler lost the hood and had to retire to the pits and the pit crew covered the engine bay so that no one could see it or take pictures

Whatever DTM does to keep things on a level seems to work. I don't think it's fair to say that any one manufacturer is either infront, or behind, enough on pace to really make that much of a difference beyond set-up and driver skill.
