Bad Braaaad

Terrible race, glad its over, only good thing of the entire night was the fan sitting atop the fence, see you all back here when we head to Chicagoland.

Bad race. Maybe the worst I've seen this year.

The tires made the racing better for everyone that wasn't in the 2 car. Boring race though.

Two things:

1. WTF is that fan doing up there?
2. So I'm the only one seeing the "soon" face at the bottom of that pic?

Jimmie Johnson sitting outside his car, apparently being treated for heat exhaustion. Helped to feet by medical personnel. #nascar

Johnson won carted away to care center. Was carried by 48 crew members to emergency cart. Struggled to walk on own.

Hopefully Jimmie is alright.:nervous:

I'm told Johnson is dehydrated and cramping. I will offer more when I have confirmation.

Edit:

Chad Knaus just emerged from the care center and told me Johnson is dehydrated.

You know it's hot and humid if JJ is dehydrated to the point of exhaustion.

Yeah... apparently lots of drivers looked very worn out, but no one was close to looking as bad as Jimmie did. Adrenaline must have helped him finish that race out.

He's left the medical center now.

Dat dominance from Brad though. 👍

Security is the term they gave that situation since it was a security issue...

I think the reason for that above image was something different.

Now they'll have to install barbed wire at the top of the inside of fences...

Terrible race though. I didn't miss much. There were TWO lead changes.

If anything, they'll up the number of cops and track workers to prevent that from happening.

Sorry I guess I'm late! haha
No biggie, welcome to GTPlanet, have fun & try to avoid giving the race commentary as posts in the thread

Don't give play-by-play of the on track action.

And the last two races were awful.

Atlanta was a fun race to watch at least from the stands. Had a blast. Richmond could very well have been. I didn't watch because football

Races are better in person, no doubt. In regards to TV, Richmond and Atlanta were both boring. Although the racing at Richmond was better compared to the spring race, it's just that Brad's domination killed the race because there was a ton of battling going on throughout the rest of the field due to the tires allowing the drivers to run low, high or a combination of both.
