Cobb and Greenfield bought old BKR RAMs. Greenfield has updated them to the point where it is officially called a 2014 RAM

Why cobb still has one of those old things is beyond me. Was she even at Daytona? The latter would be true except there is no indicative lettering on the front or anywhere else. Also, I believe the BKR Rams had different head and taillight decals due to factory support (on what are essentially 2-5 year old trucks :scared:)
On another note reading the manufacturer support scale in the Camping World Truck series (and to a lesser extent the Nationwide series) is fascinating

I'm still surprised ford even bothered with a new truck because apart from BKR (Via Penske), No competitive team runs Fords in the trucks

Honestly, there aren't that many competitive teams at all in the truck series, as at least half the field was barely rolling by the end of the race. There are, what, 8-10 trucks across 3-5 teams that have any realistic chance at all of winning most weeks?

That's typical Martinsville, its like the restrictor plate races in that its never representative of the usual norm during the season.

I think NASCAR has a 3-year window for the race cars, but the problem with that is I don't know if NASCAR is considering the new trucks a full generation leap or a mid-gen refresh. Come to think of it, I think I asked a similar question before last season.

Actually there's the #92 team, who is acting as a sort of satellite/customer team to the BKR-Penske organization. All of this is via Ross Chastain, who ironically is a former BKR driver. Personally they have a better livery than the factory Fords

@BKGlover , it is a full generational change. Both from the street counterpart perspective as well as aerodynamics and spoilers I believe.

Thank you for that Ganon, Kurt is best when he does interviews like that. ESPN is a joke they've been a joke for a while and they don't know how to broadcast much less respect motor sports and rather cause a big fight until they get bored with it. I'm impressed that Kurt is taking the high road against the cry baby BK is becoming each and every Sunday that passes.

Why Cobb still even runs thinking she is going to make a name for herself is beyond me period. I have no ill will against her or anything she does but at some point there is a time that starting and parking or being a lap down 5-10 laps into a race is a normal thing.

Love it. I remember they tried to do a similar thing to Montoya after the Pocono race with him and Kasey and he just told him off. Seriously can't wait until ESPN stops covering motorsports period, they just keep trying to start BS. I'm surprised Bob Pockrass doesn't work for them since they obviously are in the business for the same reason.

At least Pockrass knows what in the world he's talking about too, pretty obvious dude was being fed that line

Well he looked like a dork and then when told that he became the local weather man it was just too much I didn't watch the rest after that.

Yep guys, it's official, Gordon's done being a competitive driver so I'm now going to root for Dale Jr., luckily he too had a 2004 NASCAR Countdown on IGN so I could get the proper image for it.

Also have a new favorite Cup driver starting today, getting tired of seeing Joe park all the time
Joe didn't park at Martinsville. He wrecked.

Gordon really needs some time off. The idea he said he would quit if he won the championship tells me where is mind is.

Where did that come from? Despite their issues on Sunday they came home in 12th which was pretty good considering. I would assume they still have the best average finish in the field for the year so far, seems pretty competitive to me.

Welcome to April! Planning to head out to some races soon? Looking forward to a certain race? Here's this month's schedule for the top 3 NASCAR series:

Trucks:
--- no races --- (can you believe it? Not a single race penned this month for the Trucks. Sad if you're a Trucks fan. Well, you can always make up Truck races in stuff like rFactor or iRacing or something for April.)

Nationwide:
Apr. 4 - Texas
Apr. 11 - Darlington
Apr. 25 - Richmond

Cup:
Apr. 6 - Texas
Apr. 12 - Darlington
Apr. 26 - Richmond

So as you can tell by the schedule, NASCAR's staying here in the South, starting with their first of two visits to my home/native state of Texas. Yep. To all my fellow Texans of GTPlanet, NASCAR's coming to our fine state to rock Texas Motor Speedway. This would be RACECAR and McLaren country among others. After that, it's time to dance around the Lady in Black and earn your stripes... maybe even get some Darlington stripes on your car. The month ends with a trip to one of the finest short tracks NASCAR races on- Richmond.

Bring on April! Bring on Texas!

Trucks start at Daytona in February, Martinsville last weekend of March, and then Kansas in May. Really need to add a race back at Fontana, the standalone race at Darlington, and ORP needs to have a race again at both Nationwide and Trucks

Changed back, felt dirty wearing the colors of Jr. back from his DEI days (Always hated him, until Johnson came and stole that hate.)

Not sure how people hate both guys, JJ I can understand he keeps winning but even that hate is petty and stupid. As for Junior he's a nice guy was always and still is critical of his driving when he screws up or even when he does good, and at least one of the more honest. I'd take guy like those two over little girl scouts name Brad Keselowski
