You should be excited. Last year's major protagonists, JJ and Kenseth, both made major unforced mistakes. Plus, the new anti-Jimmie rule will ensure a dramatic finish to the season.

Eh, it's just all the crap to make it less exciting for me. Over the last 2 years I have pretty much started really following a few other series and enjoy the racing ALOT better and going to one is even nicer compared to anything Nascar does.

Hey Fox, it'd be great if you didn't do as many unnecessary, creepy close-ups.

Dillon on the pole right now. The more I see that 3, the little more I'm actually considering watching the whole season just so the people bitching can shut the hell up.

I'm not. I just am not so sure about this. Loved Sr., fan of Dillon. But...

Maybe if Fox gave us a halfway decent ticker I'd know why he took the pole by so much...

Whats more shocking, the 48 car had 3 technical violations in the inspection line or that NASCAR actually made them fix it?

The latter.
This is why I'm not a fan of JJ. He constantly gets caught cheating, yet he gets away with it...

Not bad. I have respect for Jeff, glad he was strong last year.
Has, is and always will be my favorite driver, once he retires I'm gonna start rooting for Chase Elliott, but Gordon will always be #1 in my heart.

Did you see the ghost lap they just showed?

That's how I am with tony.

Still not buying that Dillon got pole by a tenth... Although it's likely because I don't like Childress...

I'm starting to think NASCAR is fixing the 500's qualifying so that the year's biggest commercial buzz is featured up front, to generate the most interest... Last year it was Danica, this year it's the "return" of the 3. Conspiracies, I tell you. :p

I'm also amazed each and everytime at just how inept at journalism the FOX crew is, they just seem to outdo themselves constantly. Each interview Dillon had to answer to today was how about it felt to do this or that in a car that wears that number, to the point where I'm starting to feel bad for the kid. He's the one wheeling the thing, yet his abilities are overshadowed by the "aura" his number carries. Childress seems to have their engine game truly well sorted for the 500, but that's not why his car was fastest if you ask FOX, it's because of the number it's wearing. Nevermind the fact that Truex and Newman were also at the front. The media are going to put an immense amount of pressure on him, which I feel is undeserved.

I really don't get what your problem with it is. They had the ghost lap showing how he got it and looking at that, he had a better run out of Turn 1 & 2 and just kept that run going through. What's suspicious about it?

That's Fox for you, they just have to drill the hell out of a storyline.

The amount of horsepower in RCRs cars seem ridiculous...

Good thing about the Dillon pole is that the media will hopefully ignore Princess Sparkle Pony for a while.
