Word in the paddock is the RML parts are lighter than the GPRM parts.

In news to surprise no one, Menu replaces Scott at BMR.

Well pole was a real shocker :D ;)

Glad to see Andy had some pace in FP, but 9th in Qually was a little disappointing.

Looking good for Shedden. Fingers crossed. :D

I'll never understand why "the home of British motorsport" is a flat, characterless, windy old airfield.

Lookin' like being a nice day at Brands.

I think BTCC made a huge mistake by not running this race half an hour earlier, clashing with F1 will cost a ton of TV viewers.

Probably because you can run any type of car on it, just about every business in a mile radius is motorsports-based, it's in the middle of the country and Kent is an awful, catastrophic sphincter that no-one wants to go to.

Paddock Hill is an amazing corner though.

Well done for using a recovery vehicle that gets stuck itself.

That 4x4 will be stuck now as well

Welch seems to be driving on the limit of the Proton even under the safety car

Not suggesting Brands should be, but it's yet another circuit that makes me realise how utterly dull and unpleasant being at Silverstone is. Anyway that's a rant for another thread I guess.

I'm guessing Jordan started from the pit lane?

That sucks for Caroline in the Ginetta Juniors :S

That Clio race looked great from what I saw (the last few laps)!

Missed it, what did Plato say about BMR?

Mainly about why Smith was made to slow down and let him and Turkington past as he is taking points off even though he's not in the hunt for the championship.

Sorry for the double post but I really hope Flash has the race of his life in R3 and somehow still wins the title.

This feels like 2009. R3 is going to be something special.

Neal and Plato will most likely be together on the grid. Could be interesting

Hopefully the top 6 are reversed, it is truly great to see Honda struggling so much from such a dominant position.

Neal's primary objective has to be block/rough up Plato as much as possible. Or maybe he could return one of Plato's push-to-pass moves. 💡

Jason needs to finish 4th and Gordon no points to win
If Jason is 3rd Gordon needs to be 12 or lower
If Jason is 2nd Gordon needs to be 11 or lower
If Jason wins Gordon needs to be 8th or lower

I hope Smith walks out of BMR on his own accord. He's never been a driver who plays games for anyone else, and that's what you need to do in that team - play to Turkington and Plato. It also leaves the door open nicely for Sutton.

Sutton is staying in Clios I hear.
