Hell of a job by Shedden to come through from near the back and bring the title back to Scotland. Massive credit to Plato for doing everything he could in that last race. That was so tight right to the very last lap.

What an end to a brilliant season.

Shedden had a great season but that final race just leaves a sour taste in the mouth, I was hoping to see a race :(

Ugh I'm happy for Shedden but I personally feel Plato deserved it just as much. Anywho didn't expect it to end the way it did, expected it to be done by race 2. So atleast it gave race 3 a real buzz of excitment.

Onto 2016 and silly season driver talk.

Any chance of Jordan rejoining Eurotech now that they're getting the Type-R? He'll still be able to take his Pirtek money with him.

No because Mike sold the team. It will be Jack Clarke I am certain (Honda Yuasa development driver don't forget)

I know they sold the team but what would stop him going back? He's surely a better proposition than Clarke?

Great race to finish the season on. And what a season, pleased to have attended every race :D

Where ya going next year? ;)

Also Adam Morgan finished every race. Class and I think a potential '16 title contender 👍

Great day of racing. Final race was excellent, pleased for Sheddon.

Thanks to Renault as well, their hospitality was excellent, enjoyed a couple of good meals.

Really hope the likes of Lines, Martin, Hunter Abbot aren't there next year

The muppets at the back who caused all the safety cars in the last round don't deserve to be in Clios never mind the BTCC.

Lines' off in R1 confused me. It's like he forgot what the throttle and steering wheel do.

I think Wood is back in the car next year, cannot come soon enough. Newsham admitted he made a "rookie error" which is pretty rare for him.

EDIT: Eurotech duo to keep going for 16 (no surprise) and classy response from AJ on twitter.

Tricky situation. I don't disagree with team orders, but how many drivers is it acceptable to field in order to engineer success for one of them.

How ever many the regulations allow, that's how many. It's not a tricky anything. If you agree to do something, you do it.

Compare Aron Smith's inability to do the right thing to Matt Neal moving over for Shedden and acting as his rear guard. That's real team play.

Compare BMR's 120 starts to Honda's 60, the tricky part is not looking like such poor losers --- throw money at it, get two (well, three including Menu's stint at Brands) multiple champions on board, field twice as many cars, then start an internal slanging match when you don't win.... reeeeal professional that.

Let's be fair, Warren Scott isn't going to engineer success for anyone. Unless he takes out cars lapping him.

The problem is the team structure. Honda have two top drivers who are close friends off the track. BMR have 4 bitter rivals fending for themselves, whilst one has to be treated as the holy grail at all times. There's no chemistry between them that gels the team together, meaning there's no real incentive to actually work together. It feels numb.

In the heat of battle on a Sunday afternoon that would probably also count as 'playing the game'!

It was less in the spotlight, but I think WSR suffered from this too. Priaulx never really looked like a part of the team, and Dick Bennetts gave them all permission to race each other hard but fair, which ended up with 125i's facing the wrong way or off the track more than once. It was definitely a squad of three individuals, rather than a team.

I think there's quite a bit of respect between Turks and Plato in BMR. But they aren't exactly the perfect team that Sheds and Neal are. Smith just doesn't seem like a team player kind of driver to me, he's too young and looking to prove himself than help someone else.
