When was the last time we saw two substitute drivers in a round?

Something has to change now with the driver cooling. The cool suits, obviously aren't good enough anymore.

It is great tuning in on a race weekend and not just assuming we'd see a 888 win, back to back rounds where all 3 races have been won by 3 different drivers

I thought, for sure, that Triple 8 would be in contention for the win on Sunday. They always come back from a bad start to the weekend, so it was kind of strange not to see that happen this weekend.

But yeah, loving the variety lately. It’s so refreshing.
 
Either GM threw some money at Erebus or Betty realized that they've wasted half the year trying to do things on their own.

The only thing I don't like about Matt Naulty, and this isn't his fault, is how many times GT says his name in full.

My wife hates it too, especially because I have to point it out all the time, as in, ''did you see that Matt Naulty'', ''would you look at that Matt Naulty'', ''whatdaya think of that Matt Naulty'' etc. etc. on repeat. I think I genuinely piss her off :embarrassed::sly:
 
I like Chad but I think he’s a little too dorky for lead no role, no offence to him, Craill was definitely the three, excitable but well spoken and a great calling voice.

It's not so easy without an advantage to all the other Ford teams ;)... and now Chev have their advantage back they can't even out qualify some of them :sly:
 
I like the idea of the Friday races but they need to ran as late as possible, and they desperately need to be promoted better. Make them something special to get the fans to tune in, Friday night races are fairly unique, so promote them uniquely. Maybe have a sponsor get behind the Fridays and put in a cash prize to base it around maybe? maybe give it some added meaning towards the weekend

Yeah my bad for not giving you guys a heads up this week.

I completely agree though. Oddly enough, they managed to get this aspect right when promoting the Adelaide Grand Final last year. I thought it was pretty clear that the Friday was a mini-event in itself.
 
When will Supercars learn that triggering/adjusting parity from lap times is BoP!

It's good they've seen there's something wrong with the system though because as the system stands it's too easy to game.

You only have to look back and see that all the teams are pretty much exactly where they've always been in the Teams Championship. Giving Team 18 the homologation team role is not a silver bullet to them being a top team. Even the 'mighty' Triple 8 are finding it much more of a struggle now against the other top teams in equal machinery.

Edit: Good race yesterday though, but I'm not sure it would've been if Brodie got the jump on Cam and Matt. He was the fastest by a fair bit.

Just happy to get a break from Holden dominance across the board. Plus, nice to see different Ford teams up the front than just the usual either T8, FPV-FPR, DJR.
 
Kudos to Team 18 for learning from their mistake of running short yesterday, and why did so many Ford teams adopt a known dud strategy? History shows that going long in the first stint is best.

And yes @CodeRedR51, Anton's car looks outstanding in that livery.

Dang. Aaron Cameron has no luck in Supercars. He was so wild in TCR and other categories. He’s more level headed now, but just no luck.
