7 Gears?

in GT4 there is a car called the NIKE ONE 2022 and it has 8 gears:)

As does the Nissan Skyline 350GT-8. But this is the Gran Turismo 1 forum, not the Gran Turismo 4 forum, so this information isn't helpful to anyone in any way.

Please do not bump threads with irrelevant information.

7 gears? 8 gears? The Viper has 7? Show me a pic of it, then I will belive you.

Yes a Viper in GT1 (and only GT1) winds up with 7 gears if you buy a super close or racing transmission. There's no need for anyone to post a pic, it's common knowledge. We know what we're talking about.

the panoz race car has 7 gears (I think)

1. There isn't a Panoz in Gran Turismo - Panoz only made appearances from the second game onwards.
2. You "think"? Find out before you post - don't give the answer if you don't know the answer.

True, that's not definitive. They might not have been added to that wiki list "yet", but I am playing GT2, have played it before, and a Panoz would be an option worth trying if available. And there is no empty category for the make in the indicated page.

In contrast...

https://www.gtplanet.net/guides/index.php/Gran_Turismo_3_:_Car_List
https://www.gtplanet.net/guides/index.php/Gran_Turismo_4_:_Car_List

both list Panoz.

My detailed game logs at
http://www.geocities.com/gt2toxs/gt/logs/
mention "Panoz" ("Esperante") in
http://www.geocities.com/gt2toxs/gt/logs/gt3-game1.txt only.

I guess I wasn't impressed enough to use it in GT4 (yet?).

Sorry for piling on here. I'm sort of suggesting resources people can use to check statements they make.

It was intended as a direct response to TuneRVisioN.

And now I realize I misread his post as saying Panoz might be in GT2. :ouch:
