ADSL, going back to dialup

Just that my adsl was down for a few days (and still is, dang telus), i'm using dialup
I really didn't appreciate the speed of adsl until now.. hha

I'm on ISDN (128kbps) and I'm going back to dialup. Telstra is the only company in my town that provides cable and we are going back to dialup because of them.

Neither do I. Optus would be good. They don't charge you going over the download limit, they just drop your connection speed to 26K. I'd rather surf the net with 26K then get a massive phone bill! If only we could afford the 300 (or is it 400) dollar bill to get it connected.

Mine is £35 per month for a 1Mb line, no transfer limits. It would such if I had transfer limits, but I'm not sure how often I would have hit Cobraking's 5GB limit. Perhaps when I downloaded Linux...
