Lol @Vic Reign93, just tried the car out for a couple of laps and it said I was #1 at the time with 1:05.545, backed out and went down to 6th already 1.2s behind. We must have done it at exactly the same time because we can't see each other on the leaderboard.

I don't think DS3 users will stand a chance, full lock steering on the DS3 and the car just will not turn while on the throttle.

True, our times will eventually get obliterated by the wheels, but it's good to know that the DS3 can still take the fight to them.

Btw, You just slipped out the top 10 at Midfied and I'm not far behind in following you out. :p

Eh, I was talking about the wrong one, oops. I thought I jumped in the Midfield thread, which is where I ran the 1:05.545, and yes it has tumbled way down already . Just done 5 laps at Roma and posted a 1:05.476 for a temporary 2nd, 9 tenths behind 1st.

Don't think I'll jump in either of these Alpine cars ever again, I hate everything about their handling. Pile of bear feces in my opinion.

must...not...hit...the...barrier... :banghead:

Fun car though, settling for 1:10.6xx for now but this ain't over yet.

Hmm, i use DS3 (only d-pad and buttons, no joystickies)
tried traction=1 and ABS=1 controllersense=5
Slip and slide comming out of a corner.
Traction=5. handles better, but isn't fast enough
Traction=2 ABS=1 DS3=5, and after 8 minutes got 1:07.858.
Got the 800K, the car and racesuits with helmets, and done.

I like the brakes, but thats about it, i guess it's going to be like the FT-1 vision.
That car had awesome braking capabilities, and suddenly after some updates it brakes like a veyron..Ugh.

1.07.341 after a couple of tries. This one was way easier to get gold than the Mini event. Weird handling, but I got used to it very quickly.

These 2 Alpines are awful, I have consigned them to the stockyard. Vision cars handling is terrible any more. The only one lately that was worth spit was the Mazda. On the bright side 800K payout is too shabby:), & you don't need to drive the car again.

I found this Alpine fine and for comparison was well behaved around the Colosseum and the twisty brick area around the Piazza Venezia, compared to a S2000 Turbo and Ferrari GTO at the same 587 PP and SS tires. I had to work a ZZII hard to get the same 1:07.4 time. It also has a nice throaty sound, too bad more tuning not allowed.

Tried this after many days and improved from 1:04.5xx to 1:04.339. Finally i started to understand how to drive this faster. Have to try improve some more someday.

Is there a reason the fast guys are shifting at 7000 rpm?

If all the other kids jumps from a cliff. Then maybe you should jump after them:dopey:
They probably have a good reason for it, and perhaps it is a great idea:idea:

It has something to to do with the power in relation to the RPM. It is not always that it is the most hp, at the highest RPM.
Sometimes the peak of HP is earlier, than max RPM....

You'll never top this... well you'll find it hard if you have posted a time!

Yes over Nineteen of your Earth minutes to set the ... SLOWEST TIME ... IN THE WORLD. The next fastest guy is almost 5 minutes away... Amateur! -

I've just got GT6 working with v1.17 so back for fun, but I need cash to buy all your free GT Vision cars I'll have to stump up cash for!
