I've seen some great arguments here as to why the obvious is not the obvious but something else...

The fact is, the online time trials are introduced as a competition of driving in GT5 with certain cars... What we're witnessing here has got nothing to do with driving in GT5 with certain cars.
Any competition ceases to have meaning when it's rules are defeated...
And the pleasure for the ones who cheat is to see their names on top of other names... Nothing more... I've read posts here saying how they like to spark controversy... They don't... They haven't thought it through that much...
P.S. I've also read here that, this isn't a problem because you know which times are legit so you can figure it out... You can't... Not for times outside the top 10... Think about it
P.S.2 I've also seen people saying that PD is more to blame than the cheaters... In a bank robbery, you don't put the security guards in jail, do you..?
