I just reached 95% last night after completing the 4 hour Nurburgring endurance race. I agree that I really wish the 24hr Nurburgring and 24hr Le Mans races were the other way around. I would much rather be running the Nurburgring over and over waiting to unlock Le Mans.

(I also wish they had dynamic weather on the 4 hour track).

A-Spec 32 B-Spec 32

I still have a bunch of the special events left to do.

I'm at 94%, which is suprising because I have quite a fair bit left to do. A-Spec Lv.29 and B-Spec Lv.32.

Finally reached 95%!! :D

So who wants to start the 96% complete thread? ;)

A-Spec: 33
B-Spec: 34

Will never even get all bronze in the vettel challenge, got 1 but the other 2 are beyond me so that will stop me getting to 100%. Am at 97% complete now, 4 a-spec endurance races left & 2 b-spec endurance races to go.

To get 100% u need to GOLD every single thing in the GT5

Hmm, well, no you dont. Platinum Trophy yes, but not 100% completion. Im at 98% with 4 enduros to go in total, 2 enduros always gives 1% completion, which will give me my 100% when i complete all 4 24h's. Yes, you need to gold every A-spec and B-spec race, however licences just need to be bronzed at least, and special events dont even give percentage to start with.

EDIT: To be honest i never even checked in GT5 if licences gave %, they did in GT4.

Update: 98% now. And it will be there for a while.

97%

Left to do...
A spec: MX5 Tsukuba euduro, Tsukuba 9h, both 24h's
B spec: Nurb 24h

I'll get the b speccer at Nurburgring ticked off this week, but can't see me being able to summon up the motivation to run the A spec races... I'd probably do it if you only had to run each one once, but needing to run multiple Le Mans 24h races to open the Nurb puts me off.

I think this is right:

You do not need to gold everything for either Gold Standard (Aspec only - proven, maybe Bspec only - who knows) or Platinum (as the races series also do not need all gold, however unlikely it is that any of us will not gold every race with all that grinding to reach level 40 in both specs...).

Maybe 100% can be attained by bronzing everything ? As I have a few golds I cannot check and I write this only as a suggestion.

That's not quite right.

You do need to gold everything for Gold Standard, but remember that each race appears twice - once in A-Spec and once in B-Spec. So long as you have a gold trophy in one version of any race/series, you have golded that race/series and this counts towards Gold Standard.

In effect, you don't need to complete either A-Spec or B-Spec, just have a gold for every race and series in one or the other (so, say, gold A-Spec Beginner/Sunday Cup, B-Spec Beginner/FF Challenge, A-Spec Beginner/Lightweight K). In practice, people will almost wholly complete one and a few stray golds in the other one will sproink up the trophy.

I am 96% complete

A-Spec: 35
B-Spec: 27

I hope that I'll get about 98% with everything but the last 3 enduros done :).

I'm diligently working my way to platinum. I think less than two weeks and I'll have it. I think platinum is more about time than talent though.

I'm at 96% I think. I've no idea why, given the amount of licenses and special events I've still to gold. Plus I've only done one A-Spec endurance so far.
