That would be fun, but if I wanted to get the experience of driving proper sports cars and race cars I would go to Skip Barber.

Theres better for less. Dad wanted to try one that for 4k first they started in spec miatas, then Z06s and then you got to do a star mazda for your SCCA licenses.

Dude, give me $2,000 - Ill go casino @ my regular table & turn it into $10,000 then we can both go & take a couple of mates along for the ride also.

$2000? mmmm... let me think..... would you like my wife too? (just kidding) If I had that kind of money to spare I'd happily buy myself a new motorcycle!

Skip Barber won't teach you anything different unless you're just after racing. Braking, cornering, overtakes, etc., etc. are going to be the same between both programs as are the classes.

They're going to cost roughly the same amount as well if you want Skip Barber to teach you to drive cars on the SLS' level.

Man I would love to do something like this!!!

A while ago guys at work got to go to a V8 track day, but sadly I was not able to go (no free spots) but they spent a whole day driving a decently quick car around a track with slicks on etc.

But to go to a properly organised one like that!!! dream come true.
