Alright, for all the whining and complaining going on, I think it's time to see just who's actually going to buy the game. My guess is most of us are going to buy it no matter what.

I think this was already asked... but answer for me is, barring any more drastically bad info or reviews, I will be buying it. Just not launch day anymore, I will be waiting for a good sale ($40) or so.

Just invested too long wanting what I THOUGHT it was going to be, to let go of whatever it becomes.

And ultimately unless GT5 truly redeems itself a lot, this will mark the end of my infatuation with GT and PD. I had a lot of faith and belief in PD and how it does things but after GTPSP and what looks like GT5 is going to be, they drop in ranks to somewhere around EA for me.

I of course already bought the CE. How popular do you think GT5 will be though? Of course to all of us it will be great, but I feel like driving simulators don't have the biggest appeal to most videogamers: they would prefer the easier learning curves of games like NFS and Burnout. History would tell us that it will be very popular, as GT games have always done well, but it seems like there is more competition that may appeal more to casual gamers. Any thoughts?

I think it will be very popular, if for no other reason, riding on the name of GT and the eye candy (I am sure premium cars will be featured prominently everywhere).

And then I can't really see how many people on this forum wouldn't buy it somehow or other... I mean anyone who is still here voting this pole still cares enough about GT to buy it.

Already been done - it's called Gran Turismo (PSP).

And of course I'm buying it (as it stands now) but that doesn't mean I don't have any criticisms now, or won't have any after either.

Yea, sorry if there is a way to change my vote I will. In reality I already have the CE reserved at my local Gamestop. Ordered my PS Eye and will be making some improvements to my rig in the meantime.
