If I can convince my dad to get a PS3, probably yes. I'm all over GT4 like red on Ferrari, so I'll express the same love for GT5. And I'll get to fool around with the new gadgets like the track editor/creator (I can add a huge bridge to the Nurburgring to do the track in 10 seconds, and the AI doesn't even notice!). Won't bother with the collector's one though. Just gimme GT5 and a PS3 to play it with and I'll be happy.

so here is my question, I live in Australia, do I import the collectors edition from the states so I can play it on or around nov 2, or do I wait and pray the release date for australia is on or around nov 2?

Where can I import from?

and how will dlc work if I am in another country to where the game thinks its being played in?

I was honestly thinking about passing on the game if the sounds were not up to snuff and the tuning wasn't greatly improved. It would have pained me greatly becuase Ive really been looking forward to the Top Gear Test Track for one. However Ive dealt with the poor sounds in these games long enough long enough and they greatly detract for the game play experience, I mean really you ALWAYS hear sounds. All that said now with the inclusion of a track editor I will be buying the game now pretty much no matter what.

i don't know. there were some pretty pissy people who seemed VERY upset by the "horrible quality" of the "standard" cars. 'cause people keep comparing the "standard" cars to "GT4 Photomode" cars, ignoring the car that the Photomode in GT4 takes photos that are about twice the resolution of the actual game. Literally, it's the difference between Standard def and High-def.

Yea, sorry if there is a way to change my vote I will. In reality I already have the CE reserved at my local Gamestop. Ordered my PS Eye and will be making some improvements to my rig in the meantime.

Same here, ordered my CE at GameStop and am waiting on my PSEye from Amazon, haha. I'm going to be building some sort of more convenient mount for my wheel and seat in front of my TV between now and 11-2-10
