so here is my question, I live in Australia, do I import the collectors edition from the states so I can play it on or around nov 2, or do I wait and pray the release date for australia is on or around nov 2?

Where can I import from?

and how will dlc work if I am in another country to where the game thinks its being played in?

You can't use DLC from the Australian store for a US game, sadly.

You should be able to import from the UK and have your Australian DLC work, though.

Mate I'm in Brisbane and I preordered the Collectors Edition at EB Games before it was even announced - EB already had a CE option upon pre-ordering GT5...

I would buy this game even if they would sell it at 150 €. I don't have much time so I prefer to concentrate my time to the games I really love.

For me it's a passion and I think GT5 will be a masterpiece, I will play this game (or GT6) only for, at least, 5 years .
Maybe just playing a couple of other games in the meanwhile.
