You still don't get it. Even if you run a slower car, you're still chasing down much slower cars, you're just catching them slower. If you want real racing you need to have AI cars that are atleast lapping within 1-2 seconds of your pace, that means that if you started the race 20 seconds behind (the rough average) you would still be 15 seconds behind after 5 laps while lapping 1 second faster than the AI.
It still isnt racing because the slower car would have won, only because the start car had a 20 second lead in a 5 lap race. So in order to win this race you need to have a car that can go 4 seconds a lap faster than the AI, meaning in order to win you have to be much faster than the AI. If you started lined up on a grid at the back, vs cars that are similar pace, then you have a race.
The seasonals so far have just been chasing down slow cars that start with a massive lead, and that is what gets boring.
