I started the week end thinking, with all we have already in AC, I am still missing Dubai and Deals Gap, it is now the end of the week end, here in Eastern Canada, and, almost by magic, you guy's came through and provided links to those 2 tracks. I know it's very likely most of them drive like a shopping cart. My idea is to use the few of them that drive properly (will find one at least because I will race them along the three 4 door saloon car Kunos has made) and use the rest to fill a custom championship grid (although Im sure at least one of them will have the AI functionality broken).

As you can see, haven't tried them yet.

I don’t know how many versions are out there. I have not seen much. I’m looking for the simracingjapan version. I read that it was created for private league and never released to the public.

I put again some wheels on Mid-Ohio yesterday night and It had been a full and F... good get back on this track wich I appreciated so much in his VLM versions (chicane and no chicane). ;-)
 
This game is forcing me to buy a new HDD. I had already long passed the stage of deleting everything I'm willing to accept and now I don't even have room to download anything else, let alone unpack it all. It's taking up as much room as all my other games I have left installed combined.
How much disk space have you guys used up on this game?

Im on 321 GB, and it's mostly cars since I don't have a full collection of tracks. :D

LOL!! I had my whole Steam folder on a 250gb...then I went to a 500gb thinking it would fine...

I have moved all other steam games to other drives to make room for new AC content.

Believe I'm somewhere in near the 1,200 cars, 200 tracks? Don't know exactly, but I think I'm close to 400gb

Looking at a 1TB hybrid SSD currently just for my Assetto Corsa game folder.
 
I'm only @ 599 cars and less than 100 tracks. And I'm not even using CM yet to fix some (of the rare) awkward mods that I've got.

I can confirm this works absolutely fine. I've used it on my cars and tracks folder, more than halved the size with no appreciable change in performance at all when starting a race.
 
I drove Le Mans 1991-1996 this afternoon, unfortunately it is insanely bumpy, it reminds me of the beginning of the modding in AC when the modders had no clue on how to convert road mesh.
It would be great to have a version with a decent track mesh as I could really enjoy the Group C cars on that layout.
If you drive it with heavy cloud, it is like driving at the end of the day, the lights of the stores and the track lite up.

It's definitely worth downloading. Le Mans is a great track so it's good to have another variation, and there's an in-game app to reduce FFB if you find it too bumpy. I've turned a few laps on it and it felt fine to me in the cars I tried. Better too bumpy than too smooth!

As I guessed, most of them are crap. Holden and VW dont work. Couple of them have ridiculous gear ratios (IS350F, Taurus). Most of them dont have exterior sounds (probably need to be updated). Subaru doesnt seem to have suspension. EVO doesnt have reverse gear (it's fun though). Jaguar you have to turn full lock so it starts turning. CTS AI got stuck with full throttle on Vallelunga (I say Vallelunga because in other track it did work, GT mod track I think). Lexus ISF has ridiculous power, it starts sliding with less throttle than LaFerrari.

And most important, they broke the game. Now some kunos cars doesnt have sound. Stay away from them.

Charger doesnt have any problem that I found and it's lots of fun (what a surprise! It's the only one top rated mod on rgnnr8).

Eek! Are you sure? How does that work then? How can a mod car overwrite files in another folder?
Which cars do you think are affected so I can go and check them later?

Charger doesnt have any problem that I found and it's lots of fun (what a surprise! It's the only one top rated mod on rgnnr8).

I quite liked the Charger too, after fixing a bunch of stuff on it.

No idea, but the Giulia suddenly lost the sound.

Nah, dont worry. Im already reinstalling the game.

edit: Reinstalling solved the problem. Is there a way of installing those mods withut braking the game?
