Assetto Corsa PC Mods General DiscussionPC

[Gonzo49ers]

I found these 2 tracks in some older GTP downloads today.
The downloads are somewhere here in the thread, did not find them any more.
They are a very nice start for very good tracks.
Especially the test snake track.

Anyone knows something else about these tracks? Author, new updates?

Guys, alfa_r4 sent me a note with some terrain hole fixes to Zonda. I've incorporated his fixes. Thanks @alfa_r4!

If you guys find any other issues, let me know. Man, the flow of El Zonda really makes for some good fun. Cheers, guys!

Each plate board have a password. You just have to assign the number of the plate to the number of the .exe inside VIR folder.
Everytime you execute one of them, it will ask for that password.

Wow! Okay! Thanks!

And guess what happens when you click that...

Thanks

[kalun318]

what's that test track in the video?

[Jon Wheel]

no, they are different models. the entire rear is messed up. thats why i didnt port over the other IMSA skins i made earlier yet

Figured there was a reason some skins were with one of the cars, and some for the others. I'll stick to what works for each 👍

Hi mates how are you?
I get this message when I try to run the latest version of BLM light. I personally use CSP v0.01.52 and SOL v1.5.4-1.6. Any suggestions?

0.1.60 is basically the same as 0.1.61, I don't see many reasons not to downgrade, at least you can use the cars with extended physics.
So to anyone having black screen issues or similar, go back to 0.1.60, you don't lose anything by doing so

Unfortunately I won´t go back to 1.60 since 1.61 fixed the white screen preview bug when doing screenshots. So I will live with that it seems. Life´s hard I know. #firstworldproblems

OK having an issue with kseditor, for some reason i am finding that i import a car into it and i can't get the car in the box, its far too big, is there some sort of reset?
In the process of learning LODS and it's not going that well.

VIR Bonus unlock - the easy way

install 7zip
right click on each VIR VIP*.exe
extract to folder

done, no password

Is anybody interested in doing some replay cameras for Legions Le Mans 1985 track. There are no cameras for this track. Close up cams would be good. Many thanks.

That track has much potetial. It was one of the best tracks for rfactor.
It needs badly meterial adjustments (lightning, tarmac, ground, etc.). I'm sure this can be a great track for AC.

This Subaru Impreza WRX Concept (2013) by Momma Bongos ain't bad. It's a nice drive but needs a tiny bit of TLC, the most obvious being the off-side wing mirror doesn't work.
Is anyone able to fix this mirror please?
I don't think the 2013 WRX Concept has appeared before, has it? It's the one with the funky rear light cluster.

i made a brand new from IMSA last weekend, so you can still use one in the field for realism

1999 vrc indy is excellent. Depending on your preference, maybe the best indy mod available. And this for me goes beyond AC. Don't know of any formula 3 mods from that period.

Has Somebody previously post about FCP euro skin for they TCR golf I started to produce a skin for it on Tommy78 golf but I would like some community help it doing tyre decals texture has not best at doing them and due to lack of assetto corsa tutorials online about tyre texture decals.

[Teddie]

Man, am I the only one that continues to drive older Formula because my eyes are so distracted by the later Formula's cockpit cage? Right in the middle... Maybe I'll get used to it...

YES! I was the one hoping for the FCP Euro skin for the GTI. I can't help ya make it but I'll be your first download

EDIT: Is the Tommy78 version better than the WTCR v3.0 pack that's been thrown around here? The latter is the one I have.

TOYOTA RACING SERIES FT-50 PHYSICS MOD FOR TATUUS FA01

Hey all, this was a small project I worked on today. Not finished, but I'm happy with it right now. This changes the physics of the Tatuus FA01 to closely replicate the Tatuus FT-50 ran in the Toyota Racing Series.

Changes include:
- New Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine sounds
- More horsepower (189 bhp bumped to 211 bhp)
- Higher RPM (6500 bumped to 8000)
- Adjusted drivetrain

Not much, but still fun. Credits and installation instructions are in the file.

Now I have a favor to ask of the community. I'm not good at modeling at all, but if someone is able to converta model of the Tatuus FT-50 to Assetto Corsa, that would help greatly to the development of this mod.

Enjoy!

UPDATE! If you want the correct shift animations, go into the animations folder of the new car and delete car_shift.ksanim and shift.ksanim

I personal prefer Tommy78 version has its much better looking and probably one best touring cars mods available for AC it comes with 7 of WTCR championships cars from 2018 session.

[Mike08]

I did the Mulholland snake and Whiteman Park SS, both unfinished.

VERY NICE!
Here is a csp UPDATE! A motivation to finish the track

- GrassFX update with my textures
(i can put in some plants which are really growing there, if you will go on with the track)
- VAO patch

https://sharemods.com/9w1cucegy3bt/UPDATED_07_2020_a_test_snake_.zip.html

..dumb question: this road is not included in LA Canyons? right?

I LOVE TCR in the real world and I drive a 2018 GTI, so if it is in fact better I may take your recommendation.
