I've seen a few mentions on facebook of British Stock Car mods and tracks, but I'm having zero luck finding them, or getting anyone to send a link. There were about 4 or 5 tracks mentioned, of which 2 were Scarborough and Yarmouth (I've found Buxton), and I've seen some Escort stock cars and a Brisca Formula 1. Does anyone have links to these please?

 

I have these Alfa Romeo 75 probably 10 different versions, but I found this one just now, I have improved only the interior and the tires, the rest is as it was, worth trying.

these two ones are from assettoland but with wrong data and performances, i tried to bring them into line with automobile catalogue site data.

Why? Thank you for asking me why.
Because I like vintage road tracks, this one is ok to race, with a few tricky bumps. But the ai almost stop, before last corner, due to a bump there.
Another change was in the middle course hairpin, Now it is better aswell.

Now it is fine to race against them. At leats for me. Lol

Not a Mod, but anyone else got this **** loading for hours? Most of the time it loads at like 1-5 KBit/s even though I should have at least 50 Mbit/s

 

I would give my eye teeth to have Bannochbrae in AC....

Hmm First I have heard of this track, I will have to do a search for it.

Edited: Ah, its a Gilles track, at least the one I am looking at on you tube, Gilles has a video of this track. I just dont remember it that much. A conversion from GT Legends to AC.

before: 250 MB
after: 42,6 MB

the skin package will save lot of space after optimising

 

to this day im still waiting on someone to put the mojave test track to ac so that i can buy a ring and marry them

Guys sorry for off topic, but I need an answer quickly. I added a full size steering wheel (don't mind the emblem, I own a mustang IRL, thought it would be cool) to my Thrustmaster TX base. The wieght of the wheel is creating the need to turn up my FFB. (for size reference, my monitor is 55 inches) I think the wheel is 14 inches? Will I hurt anything by turning FFB up to 200% in Assetto Corsa? Is anyone running FFB that high?

I use a TS-PC (which I think is more or less equivalent) with a 12' wheel. I have configured the FFB, in Thrustmaster control panel: General force at 80%. In-game, depending on the car, but on average at 70%. I know it is a FFB with a tendency to the soft part, but I have found that more subtle details are perceived this way. I just wonder if 200% is not too much?

 

I think it is. You're right. I tried 200% and it was throwing me around like a rag doll. I'll try your settings to see how they feel. Thanks!

There is a version for rFactor which was converted from STCC I think. It's very fun but way too outdated to even convert to AC I think.

The guy who made Willow Springs, Washington DC, etc would do a stellar job on it no doubt...

Some previews of the upcoming XJ220S glad that i managed to do AO properly now trying to decide if the rims should have an AO because it ruins the original rim textures when pasted...

 

That green wall at willow springs been bugging the **** out of me, jar's the landscape. I know it really is that color, but, if anyone lives there, tell em to repaint it!

I faded it out like the colour of the rooftops in the track, kinda sunbleached? so it is still green, but blends a bit more into the gorgeous backdrops of the desert. Beauty of AC, dont like a thing, change it!

 

Hi JkubP!!! nice car, I like it, a hot-hatch icon!! but I have 2 problems with it, first, the wheels+tyres have not shadow; in showroom and track, and the calipers dont turn with the wheels, maybe can you fix it? it is a lovely car
