what a pleasant surprise in the evening, thank you very much for bringing this to AC. I guess I can finally delete some blender files from my disk now... I just loaded the car into a track day with some NSUs and all I could hear was the NSUs' engines, even when they were miles behind me. Might be related to some copy/paste error in the ext_config.ini...?

Edit: I set the ENGINE_INT value to 3.8 for the time being... obviously removing the timestamp from the directive name first

Edit 2: Problem was on my end, I had somehow screwed up my in-game audio levels... (The original ext_config.ini still contains some excess characters though).

General texture/shader tweaks (some from Mike08)
Groove position fixed by Shin
Foliage tweaks/fixes
Floating artifacts removed

Rudskogen Motorsenter - WIP update

For those that have come to enjoy this track, there's been some further TLC that has gone silently on the sidelines... These updates include:
  • an improved pitlane AI (needed one badly)
  • pitlane has undergone model-editing, so now we have the ghosting-effect and speed-limiter features that we've come to enjoy from top-notch tracks (spoiled!)
  • track-lighting (proper track-lamps have been added)
  • and a few more racing-cams
List to-do:
  • convert JPG/PNG to DDS for better FPS
  • anyone interested in doing Skins if needed, aerial-traffic? @Masscot?

One thing though, it might be usefull to set the neutral lock (LOCK_N) to 1 in the downshift protection.

Velo's rework of the 400 GT is bloody nice. Will he rework the RTM Khamsin, too ? It needs more love (and looks so tiny compared to its rivals) He may. We certainly have the original model. I agree the relative scaling of those two cars is wrong as the Khamsin was 7 inches longer than the...

Thanks for the heads-up. I love how these amazing doublezero tracks just appear out of the blue with no advanced warning or fanfare, yet garbage mods on Facebook gets teased, previewed and revealed as if the modder is launching brand new Apple tech.

Looks absolutely stunning ! Will test that later, but that makes me want to skin it into a fantasy hot rody racing serie, so much ! Unfortunatly, the skins seems all blank... Any chance to get the template of this ?

Or does someone here knows how to extract a template from a 3D model to skin it on photoshop, so I will not have to ask that question again, anymore ? :D
