when is preview generation gonna be finally fixed?

the result (w CSP on) is way worse then what the Previews Params window shows...

can't it be made to look as good as the preview of the preview?

After discovering the new menu on ac, I did some digging around and found this alternative launcher for AC. In theory it should simplify the menu experience. It does not replace cm, of course. I haven't tried it yet, but if anyone is interested, here's the link --> https://sumimi-launcher.com/

Wow it's amazing and it will finally allow me to fully enjoy my ac experience^^
Let's just hope we could combine cm and this one

In Assetto Corsa, now we have the March BMW M1 raced at Le Mans and IMSA / GTX class, the "Schnitzer" BMW M1 Grp.5 and the "Sauber" BMW M1 Grp.5, they are all converted E26s for Le Mans, the DRM (German Racing Championship, predecessor of the DTM), Procar Grp.4 and so on , so I find the difference between the Sauber and Schnitzer quite easy, but not everyone sees the differences.
I will now take care of giving everyone their appropriate paint job and release it, when it's done...could be take some time

The Authors from these many M1's are Legion,F302,DRM Modding Team and SMS

stay tuned...
Does there gives Skins for the Legions March M1 GTX ?
,i have only See the Red One with Nr.53 that is the March M1 GTX Mod.

BMW M1 E26 (Turbo,Procar,March,Sauber,Schnitzer)

Apart from F302's M1 Turbo Mod, i saw that there is of course still the DRM mod and there are already quite a few skins for it, I'll take care of the ones that don't exist yet for F302's.

I also had to realize that, in addition to the Procar series and the March, there was also the Schnitzer and the Sauber M1, each with a turbo and that somehow everything was swapped with everything else here in AC.

We have the following cars:

View attachment 1302877

Unfortunately we now have a problem with the turbos, I would say an M1 inception.

As already described above, we all (the painters and varnishers) swapped a lot of paint jobs with each other, a paint job for the Procar that the M1 Turbo has, etc. As a historical racing fan, this annoys me a bit, and I also had to realize that I was swapping things around for paintwork.

I would like to inform you about this and hope to set everything straight here, because even car models from the store or slot cars or even advertisements, Toy manufacturer's and Magazine reports sometimes mix up the vehicles.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In 1976, BMW initially submitted the specifications for the production of the M1 to Lamborghini in Italy, who were supposed to supply bodies - drawn by Giorgio Giugaro in a more functional design than the "BMW Turbo" and without the gullwing doors - as well as floor assemblies. After economic problems at Lamborghini, BMW was forced to redirect the production of the mid-engine sports car into a new, more complicated production chain. This is ultimately how the tubular space frame was created at Marchesi, and the glass fiber reinforced plastic body at T.I.R., both based in Modena. Giorgio Giugiaro's company ItalDesign in Turin assembled both and provided the interior design. The car then came to Stuttgart, where Baur installed the entire BMW mechanics and the transmission supplied by ZF.

The Procar series thus offered the crowds the opportunity to see their favourite drivers active in more than one race over the weekend. The races were often very spectacular and involved quite a bit more close action than most Grands Prix. Niki Lauda was crowned champion in 1979 and he was followed by Nelson Piquet in 1980. For various reasons, many of them political, the M1 Procar championship was not run again. By this time the competition cars were fully homologated and scored some great results. Unfortunately they faced the virtual unbeatable Porsche 935 K3s. The biggest success came in 1981 when David Cowart Kenper Miller drove their Red Lobster sponsored M1 to the IMSA GTO Championship.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sauber / Schnitzer BMW M1 Turbo Group 5

BMW M1 Turbo Gr.5. In principle it is going to do to this car in two bodywork, one developed by Schnitzer, the German coachbuilder involved in competition since 1963, and the other one by the Swiss Peter Sauber.
In the picture you can appreciate the differences between the two bodies, essentially the rear wheel arch, side windows, spoliers, and small details of the front and rear hood i would describe them as the one with the high muzzle and low muzzle

View attachment 1302848
There are also other versions, without pop-up headlights (kinda ugly imo) from 1981 (Martini Converted Sauber car)

https://www.ultimatecarpage.com/images/car/7809/BMW-M1-Group-5-151665.jpg

Eventually Giugiaro/Baur/BMW/Schnitzer/Sauber/March produced 457 M1s, including all the racing cars. Financially the M1 was certainly not a success and the racing record, especially for a BMW, is not overly convincing either. If Neerpasch had not come up with the Procar championship, the M1 would have been a complete disaster.

Sauber M1 and M1-R:

https://curbs-magazin.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/bmw-m1-fahrgestellnummer.jpg

After the BMW M1 had finally been homologated as a Group 4 racing car, the Swiss Peter Sauber put two examples of this Group 5 version on the wheels in 1981, which were around 100 kilograms lighter than the Group 4 version. With the ex-BASF GS Team M1 Group 5 pictured here, Hans-Joachim Stuck and Nelson Piquet won the 1000 km Nürburgring in 1981.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Schitzer M1 or M1 Turbo DRM Group 5:

Stuck said one over the M1 (Schnitzer) Turbo:

"The first thing I remember is 1000 horsepower that we were able to mobilize during training. This thing had such a propulsion that you thought someone was climbing on your stomach. There was a phenomenon with this car that we couldn't explain. If you were in fifth gear, at the Salzburgring the car was running at around 300 km/h, then suddenly it became completely quiet inside. You thought you were flying. Whether that was due to vibrations or the fact that the aerodynamics suddenly flowed so beautifully, no one knew. In any case, it immediately became so quiet that you became afraid."

Well, I hope I didn't upset anyone with the long text or the history lesson and hopefully no mistakes.

P.s The Michael Cane Racing versions still exist, (LM 81,82) but I haven't found anything about them yet or what they were.
Please Where i can find the March M1 with the Nummer 82 ?
I Search für Long Time for IT but cant Find it ,have only the Red One with Nummer 53

I agree. I usually set my AC via CM when I don't race, in order to have everything set up when I want to race. Switching from mouse and keyboard to my wheel everytime I want to change my weekend session, or just my car, it's boring after a while (also because I don't have a dedicated setup, it's all tangled up). Now we have the opportunity to do everything using the wheel, like other games. With this new facelift, including the new in game menu (thanks again @MasterFocus for your reply), AC looks so fresh.

I want to talk about another topic, maybe can be helpful. I usually had a lot of stutters even in practice sessions, even after a lot of optimizations (AC and PC). While setting up my bios, I found the option "Sync All Cores" which sets every core of your cpu to the same frequency. This healped a lot, now I have a much smoother experience. Obviously temps and power consumption are higher than before (not too much but still the increase is appreciable).

Here's a quick explanation :)

Aight, thank you all for the guesses. 😛

It's the TV camera itself. 😊

View attachment 1457439
View attachment 1457434

Full Nordschleife is completed, modelled (most of the cams) on the N24 2024 event. It's not perfect (trees grown a lot!), but like 99% accurate. I've found that I can (not say "easily", but) do TV camera sets that model the real broadcasts more accurately than most AC track mods out there.

The above example is actually one of the least accurate cams in the set (that's because there's a tree interfering on the Kunos track where the 100% correct spot is, a little further up and back). But it's a historic camera spot, used since the 1970s, and quite rare -

...So it's a good example still, because I've also found A TON of archive youtube footage where the middle part of the track is also camera'd up trackside! (Instead of heli, as nowadays) That's from where the last trackside cam currently loses the cars at Aremberg exit all the way to where they pick them up again on the example above, the entry to the Karussell. All pro shot! (except a small part on Kesselchen and Mutkurve)

I'm thinking of releasing the Nordschleife layout (and the Tourist, cause it's almost the same) for free on RaceDepartment, and create a Patreon for the full package, as well as the other tracks I've done, or nearly completed. I feel like it's worth it for their unique level of accuracy. I'll post the RD link (not the paid link) closer to release.

Here are some more shots:

View attachment 1457435
This is the Flugplatz angle used until they graded the track after Mardenborough's crash in 2015, and it beautifully shows the cars getting light there. On the current, graded version, they don't do that anymore and the track, realising this, moved to a full head-on cam nowadays that focuses on the general steepness of the hill instead. (ks track is a 2014 scan, so it still has the jump, and I thought the old angle is more representative for this one!)

View attachment 1457436
I've found this angle from the DTM 1993 race at the full Nurburgring; they had this dramatic camera angle for the Foxhole exit kerb ride. This shot gets more dramatic on replay, the heavier you throw the car in!

View attachment 1457437
This is the standard N24 2024 camera for the Pflanzgarten 1 jump, nothing to comment here - besides the accuracy! :P About 80% of all cams are from the N24 2024/2023 event. Full list of events & year for each camera # will be in the Readme.txt file.

View attachment 1457438
Finally, this Tiergarten angle is from WTCC's 2016 race on the full Nurburgring - it's a bit lower than the angle they use nowadays, and so the small increase in drop towards the very end of the downhill, just before the compression, is more pronounced. The current higher cams hit the entire drop from the same angle, so the increase in steepness is less noticeable.
Releasing this tomorrow, if all goes well! 🤞

Is there a way to make the weather transition much slower/smoother? Every now and then I will come back and adjust the Pure's weather settings in for time weather transition. For example 10 minutes of sunny weather before changing to cloudy/overcast. But after ten minutes it would quickly change from sunny to cloudy rather unrealistically.

I did mess around with the slider settings in the Pure's weather settings menu, but it doesn't seem to change anything.

Thanks for sharing but I get same error everytime

"Showroom “ult_studio_grey” is missing"

I have the grey studio installed in Assetto's track folder, is this correct?

Perfect thanks! Been wanting to find a good preset and showroom for CSP as been wanting to standize every preview to account for encrypted or extension content like the WSC cars.
You may also have a look into my dedicated thread here reg. this showroom.
