Milan Castello Circuit (acf_milan_castello_circuit) fix
Here a quick fix per config I made exactly 1 year ago for the original version...
Not the best looking, but better then this really annoying background plate before.
Extract to ..\assettocorsa\extension\config\tracks\acf_milan_castello_circuit.ini or into \loaded\
Trees look much better, I can say that much, but they don't come free... 59,2 fps (63,4 with all spectators removed) versus 84,8 fps AVG in the original...
And the track was already pretty demanding.
I did not even know of a second layout...curious now
Btw: there's this little thing that bothered me in the original version and it is still present in this one. Nothing major, but once you've noticed it, you see it every lap

The Grid 2 version of Algarve looks a touch wide, but of the tracks that assets can be converted, it looks the best option. I think if it were possible to convert the pCARS2 version that would be the holy grail as that was lidar scanned and it does look really spot on.
I know the Codemasters tracks aren't regarded for their accuracy, which is why I was surprised at this Algarve layout from Grid, it looks pretty good.

Can't speak for anybody else, but I'm perfectly happy with the recent update Zwiss did on Algarve.
The GRID version of Algarve is astoundingly accurate and blows the Race 07 version out of the water. Ditto for Mont-Tremblant, I have a feeling both might be laser scanned to some degree. Thank you very much. This animated track (waterfalls, arrows) look very impressiv. But you need a strong stomach to drive this in VR, because there is always the risk of falling into the little lake.

This link is from Assetto Land. I was wondering if anyone had done anything to help love this car a little more? The gearing is trash, I messed with it on my version on my game, but maybe someone knows how to do it better. And maybe some shading updates to make it look better? This is such a special car I'm surprised I haven't seen any updates come out on it. Thanks!

I've been desperate to see these tracks converted for years. I believe ACU was working on Mont-Tremblant at one point. I tried starting myself but couldn't get Blender to play nice with custom normals, and couldn't get the trees into 3dsimed.
The Reboot version of Race 07 Algarve is a great conversion but it's lipstick on a pig of an ancient and very inaccurate mesh. The final corner in particular is nothing like reality. The F1 race is coming up and only PCARS2 has a accurate version. Even sadder is GRID Autosport having the only good version of Mont-Tremblant in any game when it's one of the best tracks in the world.

A little bit ago gtplanet messed with the search function and it's a lot less functional than it used to be, it seems to return fewer results than it used to, so when I did search for this stuff none of that came up. Pretty annoying.

Anyone know if its possible to do track conversion from FIA european truck racing? There's a good version of winton there and that's in long need of an updated model in assetto. Would pay for an updated winton model.

Does someone know a mod of the Courage C60? I can only find the LC70 and the Pescarolo LMP from sim dream, but not the c60.
That's absurd. The (presumably dry) weight of the car is only 800 kg., so that's a 25% increase in weight; the weight of two big, fat passengers.
