Dunno about you guys, but I always have good racing when using those touring cars. (I know the mix of cars aren't period correct but... I was going for fun!) Also I think AC AI is pretty good comparing to what we had in GT or Forza for the last years... The race starts a little warm then get fun in the middle of the race when I started to go after those fast Volvo wagons. Legendary cars!

Track is Interlagos by Malagoli (yes, that old one but I really like it. Also once again using the cams from the good friend ATR)

new extension for COTA (acu_unitedstates by Reboot Team 1.16)
you can find this extension for acu_cota_2021 here.

added working scoreboard displays (need CSP 1.75 to work), working screens and working analog rolex clock.

Here's another problem that suddenly appeared. When using the "nice screenshots", now the wheels doesn't show any sign of blur... rendering the image too unrealistic. Here's an example.

Any idea what might be causing this issue? Thanks, and apologies in advance.

How do I check the first thing you're mentioning? Sidekick has been removed but to no avail. The rest are not causing the issue, I did what you mentioned, but got no results. Still stutters when I cross the s/f line when I do a clean lap. If the lap is invalid, it goes fine.
How did you remove sidekick?
a) completely removed the folder from the apps folder,
b) disabled it from the apps page in CM or
c) removed it from the screen in game

If I'm not completely wrong Pyhon apps still consume resources and perform calculations and/or IO operations even when the app itself is not visible on screen. The Sidekick app saves lap times to the file system although only when exiting the session. Disabling most of the apps in CM fixed the problem some weeks back.

Hi,

once again i have a request to the AI specialist here :dopey:. Bannochbrae is a trully well made conversion. Unfortunately the AI takes this sign here much to serious:

In that condition the track is not suitable for racing against the AI which is loosing about 2 seconds here, which truly is a shame. I wonder if there was already attempts to improve the AI lines here ? I mean the track fully deserves it.
Would be grate. Thank you in advance
Just for the protocol if someone else interested was also waiting.... there were already attempts to "fix" the AI at this point. Unfortunately it seems not possible due the general AC AI behavior, to improve this sequence here.

Do you have any idea on what type is best suited for a Nascar/Nascar truck? Thanks for posting this!
That's not going to be perfect I'm afraid, NASCAR tyres are fairly unique as modern racing slicks with big chunky sidewalls. There's nothing really like them among the default Kunos content (which is what the tyre generators are based on). I've just had a go at creating a generator that will produce a modern slick tyre that fits a NASCAR, it might not be great but give it a go and let me know what you think. Ok, understood. Thank you so much for the feedback and also actually taking the time to make one for Nascar, I'll have a go at it tomorrow :)

@raulongo sometimes also rsr live timing app is causing issues. Try to disable that as well.

FTH issue you can check here:

Hi Gunnar, does this interfere with the extension from @Pyyer?

Found it. After disabling the "stereo odometer" app it works as a charm even with the second line enabled. So the sidekick app does not like this.
Maybe @slider666 this may work for you as well? Even the stutters after crossing the start / finish line are gone. Sweet and lovely.
Quoting my own answer from April 2020...@raulongo maybe this helps (disabling the stereo odometer app was the culprit).

Hi @Young78 !

The F50 GT is fantastic, congrats!

I've found some inconsistencies in the physics.
I share an alternative version. Please, check it out.

Changes:
  • Corrented inertia values
  • Re-balanced aero
  • Full setup options added
  • Little retouches in steering, suspensions and braking.

It's just an starting point. Still work to do.

Hi !

Could you share this Lucky Strike skin or any other skin for this F50 GT ?

thank you

Tyre generator update: https://mega.nz/file/il0QmAqZ#Bw9gTDC-8Y5EEpKduCUDCRes8x50Jo8GeLtcpHbfxF0

These are custom machines that allow you to use Content Manager's built in tyre generator to get yourself a fresh set of V10 Kunos standard tyres for any car you please. There is a readme included with instructions on how to install. If anyone has any questions then please ask away. I'd previously released something similar but it was missing correct abbreviations and had a few naming oddities and useless generators.
Cant find any "README" file...

Its going better then I expected... for whatever reason my brain was working properly when i UV mapped the groove so its fully working now using the groove texture from Vancouver. I added a couple of higher quality trees for about 5 of the closer trees to test some detail.

A question for @RMi_wood or @shi , is there much value in increasing the subdivision of the road mesh if im not planning on adding noise. I have it split into a visual and physical mesh and I subdivided the physical mesh in the most basic way possible but is it worth doing this or does it add to the physics calculations.
