I have issues with the surfaces in offline sessions.
The grip in tarmac is very slippery in Optimum 100%, in gravel is like the surface absorves the car power, it's going too slow.
I've tested changing CSP (I was on 0.2.12preview1 and changed to 0.2.11, recommended) NO SOLUTION
I've tested to Able SurfaceFX and Disable SurfaceFX
I've tested Verifying integrity of the game files on steam
I've tested deleting all previous track presets on cache
I've tested to join an Online server and there's no problem at all. It just happens offline.

What can I do? I'm in the way to send the game to the thrashbin of the eternal oblivion.

so i found a visual issue on my PC on fuji 68 with a certain texture being popped out in a block around the track.

this is also on the pitboxes i have no idea what caused this

and just as i was typing this: i found the culprit: CMRT....
I have also had some random issues lately, both in performance, artifacts and other small, weird stuff. Disabling/uninstalling CMRT seems to have solved some of these issues also, so definately a heads-up for everyone having random issues like these. 👍

Edit: I also have to use CSP v0.2.7 to make proper previews. Any newer will mess up random stuff, like the cars having no tyres etc.

Did anyone discover that New Jersey Motorsports Park has a hidden track inaccessible unless you remove walls in blender?
I opened up the walls and you can drive on it and its well modelled.

Question is, if i made it separate as kart track, drift track etc, i'd have to contact the guy who made it?
 
Its actually a problem we were discussing on this forum last week I think, some Race07 models in particular have this cheat with the rims, but the only way to make the shader work in AC is to have it on "ksTrees" which was causing your issue.

So depends on how well you know Blender? All I did was take their rim cover and the parts of the rim that sit behind it, boolean the 2 together, then delete the faces that didn't have the rim texture. Then I duplicated that around the car. For the brakes I just created a new cylinder for the brake disc and sorted the texture on it and deleted the old one, and again just duplicated it around the car. The final step is to adjust the shader setting in ksEditor to PerPixel and its done. Its about 15min work. If you're not sure what I mean I could do them for you, it would just take a few days as I'm busy with other stuff but I'll squeeze it in.
May I ask you to do this work? I tried Blender before, but unfortunately it was a failure. I would be very grateful if you could solve this problem.

Unpacked data folders seem to cause issues occasionally as well. If you encounter a stubborn car, check that. It might help.
That "doors open" on the Nissan R380 is present for me in ANY of the CSP previews, on ANY of the R380s (Bazza, Legion et al).
It's related to the door close animation that happens when you get in the car. I fixed it by disabling-by-renaming the ksanim.
I realise that might be a hammer to fix something simple, but I can only work within my limited skillset, right?

Has anyone had issues with AI cars bouncing and flipping in the pits. It seems crazy i know! I am launching a custom Race through CM and all the cars and track are mods with no previous issues. I added Legions Chevron B16s to the grid and they started bouncing on their suspensions before starting to flip end over end and the game crashes. I’ve tried adjusted the suspensions in the data file but it hasn’t solved it. If anyone is using Legions Chevron B16s can you tell me what version of CSP you are using?
 
the reflections, but the double kerbs and the third ads that appears and disappears remains and the white tarmac is better but not perfect, in this screenshot reflections are pratically setted to zero
with normal CPS setting the parts that in this screen looks flat gray appears white as in the other screenshot

Can you try Set CSP Settings→ General Patch Settings→ CPU optimizations→ Chunks optimizations to Basic

looks like a similar problem to which Shin gave this solution?

Do you have the Opel Kadett Blitz RHD?
That car just crashes CM when attempting a CSP preview.
It's this car (shown with a non-CSP preview):

Edit: never mind, I redownloaded/reinstalled the car and everything is now fine with the CSP preview. My original car must have been Trumped (corrupt).

Edit 2: lol, just noticed the front left wheel.
Redone using the 'no-steer' preview variant and the suspension is now normal.

Is it safe to assume that CSP previews (with the front wheels turned) expose mods with janky physics, specifically squiffy suspension geometry? :odd:
Do you have these kind of issues really with the latest csp 0.12p1? Have you tried using my csp preset I sent you? Same issues? I wonder what´s wrong in your settings since I don´t experience these stuff you report.
 
I'm sad because this morning I explained a problem that doesn't allow me to play this game anymore, and it doesn't seem to care to anyone.
Should I be friend of someone here to get an answer?

Yeah, it's weird. Only a few cars get affected. Might be the new kn5 loader or something.

Did you go to my documents and rename the assetto corsa directory to something like Assetto Corsa - Backup and then trying again (CM will rebuild the folder with default settings)

Anything in either animated suspension or the suspension.ini file that's not set correctly will stick out in those previews. But I've never seen them get as wild as yours have.

Yes. But this must be a Content Manager issue as it happens also on 0.1.79 and it never, ever happened before.

You wont lose anything as you are keeping all the settings safe by renaming the folder. If you do this and find everything works as it should then you can move the individual files one by one until you find the one that breaks things again.
 
Hi All. I have a strange problem. I get weird lollipops and objects above my car when starting from the pits. Please see photos. Can any body help please. On latest CSP and Pure LCS. Many thanks. I play in VR but it’s the same on flat screen.
