I like these lines. I don't know why but I think of the nissan R-390 and LMP cars (but not so radical).

Anyway, looks like a radical departure for Aston. I was fully expecting something corporate-faced and not a million miles off what they're already making.

Aston has a long range of cars with DB in their lineup. Stands for David Brown. The D could be his first initial, and the P probably Prototype. But it is ofcourse possible that they had an eye on the Daytona Prototypes.

I just hope this car's back doesn't look like nissan's VGT. Aston Martin always had great lines. I'm conviced it will be a great looking car.

LMP2/DP/generic hypercar hybrid? The reflections in the bottom right look suited to the AM grille, and the way the front tapers down is somewhat reminiscent of a B08/80.

What do you get when you mix all those together? A B09/60 road car.

It wouldn't be anything less for a car like this. It'll likely be the standard issue 6.0 litre unit rather than the One-77's 7.3.

I guess it'll be a hybrid, with a V12 hopefully, just like the LaFerrari.

It makes sense if this VGT will be turbo-powered, all previous ones have been like that. It's a surprise to see turbo's put on a Mercedes Benz or BMW, this Aston Martin will be no different.
